I agree with your sentiments about Go Cat. Just out of curiosity, do you mind my asking why you don't feed your cats Iams? If you prefer not to say, I completely understand

Not so. Hills Science Plan Nature's Best dry food is different colours...

While I don't recall seeing artificial colors on the Nature's Best package (doesn't mean there can't be any, I just don't remember seeing them), i've found that brand to be equal or even lower quality than the regular Science Diet. Lots and lots of grain and not much meat.

If you do a search on here, or on google for Iams, you should find some articles that explain why I wont use them.
Yes, I had forgotten about Natures Best - but I stopped using that due to the poor ingredients, meat content was low and quite far down on the list. Mind you, I wouldn't feed most of the Hills range for the same reason.

you will find if you look at the label and are in the states ... the first three ingrediants arent meat ...

Those Olli biscuites are what my cat Ollie has.

he does well on them, with wet foods, but Missy hates them, and they don't do a kitten varity, typical.

I've managed to get them eating something the lot of them!!

Unfortunatly only kitten wet they will eat now is Whiskas with the gravy not jelly, they have a pouch in the morning, then either Hills Natures best, or Purina ONE, they love both these drys, and this fed rest of the day. Same for Missy but she has adult varity.

I know alot of people say they don't like Sciene plan and say the first 3 ingredeiants aren't meat, i checked my pack, and first ingrediant is Chicken meal, 47% and the rest is really simllar to the Purina ONE ingredinats, theres just more meat in the natures best. alot more meat infact! i'm glad there all eating something and enjoying it.

i've seen a change in all of them
there furr is so much more shiney, and there eyes look brighter, they look so healthy! you can see the differance in such short time.

because there diet has more dry, i'm thinking of getting one of those cat water fountains as well.

I'm also thinking of trying them on Royal canin, kitten for kittens.
and the exigent for Missy for fussy cats.

even Missy is enjoying the dry now, and is eating all her wet!

is the UK Hills natures best Science plan different to the american one? the ingrediants list seems much different. I was really worried about trying it after all the bad things i'd heard, but after gettign a trial pack of it, and them wolfing itdown, and seeing a difference in them has made me smile.
I love seeing my babys happy.

the Purina one they like as well, probably not as much as the natures best though.

so this is the daily feed for them:

Morning: Wet food, with a sprinkle of dry.
Rest day: Only dry, fed in 2 meals.

hows that sound?

I tried Olli, as they had a good meat content - Pebbles liked it for the first few meals, but then would only eat it if it was mixed with something else - and I know of other people whos cats do the same, so maybe it is too high.
Natures Best did change their ingredients recently - when I used it last year, it was really poor, but when I was at a pet shop last week, they were selling trial bags, and the ingredients looked better. But, seeing as I have nearly 2kg of hilife biscuits for Pebbles and about 1kg of JWB for Ginger, I wasn't going to see if she liked it. I did notice that the dental Hills food had a good meat content, and was tempted, as I only have one out of 5 under the age of 10, one has no teeth, 2 have had dentals in the past year, and one needs one, but not necessary just yet. Might see how much my vet can get it for.
