Uregent Request for prayer for Blondiecat

Thanks so much for the updates..just one day at a time..and pray for the best. My family is praying for you both.

Still keeping my fingers crossed for Cathi's continued improvement.

Thank you for keeping us updated, Carla. The news does sound cautiously optimistic, so we'll just keep praying for the news to keep being positive.

I am continuing to pray for her recovery.

Every day is another day to strengthen our prayer chain. Thank you for taking the time to let us know how Cathi is doing.

We got a tiny glimmer of Hope yesterday. The Neourologist finally got in to see Cathi yesterday. He said that she is not having seizures but she is having muscle spazms. He is taking her off the seizure meds cause she doesn't need them. He also said that there is a chance of her waking out of the coma that she is in by Sunday that she should be ok. but there is a down side to this. If she does not wake up by Sunday that it is bad and some decisions will have to be made.

So we have been trying our best to get her awake. She has opened her eyes some, the nurses say not to read to much into it that it is the result of the muscles spazms but we want to say different. Mom swears she is seeing a smile but it is hard to tell with the tubes in her mouth.

Only time will tell what is going to happen, the family is right there with her. We tell her when we go into the room to see her that she needs to wake up.
Ken has been right there pretty much all the time. Looking in on her, spending the night, keeping her face clean and brushing her hair. Letting her know that he loves her Now if just one of his kisses would wake her up. we would be good to go.

Thank you for the update, Carla, Tybalt and I will keep the prayers coming! We've got all 39 cats petitioning Bast on her behalf as well

I am crying. Oh I want more than anything for Cathi to wake up! You hang in there, Carla. You are so brave to write to us while this is going on, and to detail these intimacies to us. The power of prayer is very real.

How about trying to take in a recording of the cats - purring and talking? It might well get a response, along with those kisses

oh brilliant idea! Carla when you read this if you think you need help with that, I can overnight express to you a hand-held dictation device, like a dictaphone, equipped with batteries and a little casset of 45 minutes blank tape. You just hold it in your hand and press record.....

None of us have stopped praying for, or thinking about Cathi. Now they will be doubled!

Oh a glimmer of hope for sure. Love and hugs from my eight babies and me!

That is such good hope to receive! What a wonderful idea to take recordings of the cats - that will surely help so much!
