I am new to this site and look forward to chatting with each and everyone of you. I hate to start asking for favorites right away but I am in desperate need of your assitance.
Cosmo has allowed me to be his mother for the past 5 1/2 years, however, he may disown me soon. His favorite mouse toy is no longer available at my local supermarket (Stop & Shop), the only store I have seen them in. They come in a package of 3-5, they are 2 1/2 inches in length with a gray front part of the body and a black back half. The feathers (approx. 2inches) vary in colors. He loves them because they rattle.
Any help in finding them would be greatly appreciated! (Middletown, RI, USA)

Thank you to all of you! As soon as I can, I'll show a picture of the prized mouse. I am completely computer illiterate - as soon as my husband gets home from his basketball game I will have him attach it. I haven't tired Ebay - thanks maverick_kitten for the idea!
Fwan - I tried the store - they looked at me like I had two heads! Apparently, not to many people are willing to search high and low for cat toys!

Have you tried the Stop and Shops in Newport? If you do post a pic, I am close to the S&S in Bristol, and I can check there.

Well, they certainly haven't met anyone else from TCS then!

Have you looked at any of the online stores that specializes in cat toys? Do you know the brand of the coveted toy mouse?

Here's a couple to try:

Plain Brown Tabby

Catnip Etc.
Or just look on the Meowhoo page for Cat Toys & Entertainment

Good luck with finding your kitty's favorite toy. Cats can be picky, huh?

Don't stress over it too much, though. I'm sure he could be happy with a similar toy, right, huh??....Yeah, right!

Well I do hope you find it soon.

The Tractor Supply Company here in town sells the most wonderful mice toys that are small and rattle- the only toys my girls will play with. I found them online here-

http://www.petmarket.com/spotnips-mo...ys-p-1984.html

They go nuts for these things. You can buy them individually or in packs of 4 or 12. They have some that look as you described. My vet also sold them.

Hi!!!

Is this what you are looking for?

It does rattle. I found it at the Petco in Seekonk this morning.
