What is your favorite canned food? I don't mean for you personally, but for your kitties! Twitch will eat Wellness, but it isn't her favorite. I was in the pet store today(the one with canned cat food an hour away). I bought several different varieties. They were almost out of everything. They get new shipments on Thursdays.
I was a day too soon.

OK, so here's what I bought.
Nutro Natural Choice Complete Care kitten
--Salmon & Oceanfish Formula
--Oceanfish & Tuna Formula
Felidae
--Chicken & Rice in Chicken broth
Merrick
--Southern Delight
--Grammy's Pot Pie
Eagle Pack
--Duck & Oatmeal Formula
--Salmon & Shrimp Formula
--Oceanfish & Tuna Formula

I know Twitch has tried several of the Merrick varieties, but I cannot remember which ones she liked. Lily is at that stage where she will eat anything. Twitch liked the Nutro pouches we got before. We haven't tried the Felidae or Eagle Pack, but I have heard good things about both of them. I wanted some Eagle Pack dry food, but Pet Expo didn't have any.
I got recommended the Nurto Indoor kitten, & so far Lily loves it.

I only get wet food every now and then as a treat, as it gives Orion and Gordito runny poop.. but when they go get it they enjoy anything with fish. I am usually not picky with the brand (but they do like Performatrin moreso), since its only a treat every two months or so.

They mostly get canned tuna once a week, since its nice on everybodies bellies, and they all love it.

Their favorite good stuff:

Innova
Merrick (any flavor)
Eagle Pack (Chicken and Lamb or Turkey and Barley)

Now that I just bought 2 cases (24 cans each!) of 13 ounce cans of Felidae, they've collectively decided they won't touch the stuff.

My kitties have tried a lot of canned foods (nutro cans, nutro pouches, proplan, petgold) but I've figured out that they only really like the natural balance pate-like cans. I just ordered some merricks so that's gonna be next on the taste-test list.

My boys love Blue Spa select/especially the salmon. I tried Nutro but they didnt like the chunks. My boys will only eat pate and fish fillets. They hate chunks. Does Nutro make a food that isnt chunky? I tried the chicken caccitore and the fish one (alaskan something).

Merrick- Grammy's Pot Pie, Turducken, Thanksgiving Day Dinner, and Cowboy Cookout

That's the only canned food I feed her.

My older cats won't eat anything that isn't in a gravy, and that cuts out most premium foods. The only thing they will eat that is better than grocery store quality are nutro pouches, eukanuba pouches, science diet beef in gravy and I think pro plan. Unfortunately, all but the science diet are just a bit more than I would like to spend, but they do eat these brands occasionally.
The kittens have been eating nutro max kitten turkey giblets formula, chicken and liver formula, and chicken and ocean fish formula. I think they like the chicken/ocean fish the best, and turkey the least, judging by the amount of leftovers. I bought these at a feed store that is cheaper than most, and most of the kitten canned foods were sold out.
They also enjoyed trader joes food, merrick- pretty much all of the flavors, and petsmart's authority for kittens, eukanuba for kittens, and nutro kitten pouches.

Baylee's a snob and will only eat Petguard, the Chicken and Wheat Germ flavor. Jordan will eat anything you stick in front of him, and then will go searching for more. :p

touro-

my cats will also only eat pates. If I get things with chunks, they'll just lick the gravy off and that's it. the only nutro cans i could find with pate were the kitten flavors - i think one was oceanfish and the other was turkey, but my cats didn't really like them.

I would have to say ProPlan is Sash's favorite, but he's not allowed to have it that often.
I do let him indulge in it occasionally though. He does love Natural Balance and Eagle Pack canned too, usually the fish flavors only. Wellness, I believe he liked too but I haven't bought that in a while because it's not sold anywhere that close to me. Sash did not like Innova or Merrick canned.

I can't reccommend Evanger's enough...it got my kibble-addicted boy onto wet and it's still one of the very few brands he'll eat. It's hard to find, though. You can order it online I know. I also like Merrick and Wellness. If you have Trader Joe's or Whole Foods, they each make a brand of canned food that is inexpensive and free of fillers which have been readily accepted by my brood. The only thing is is that most of the flavors are seafood and I've always been told not to overdo it with seafood flavors.

Is there a reason not to overdo seafood flavors? One of my kitties likes seafood, but is also into chicken/turkey, etc. The other cat is a seafood junkie and hates other meat flavors.

I believe seafood cat foods tend to be higher in phosphorous - a consideration re kidney function in a senior cat, and some feel that cats become seafood junkies, then refusing to eat anything else. Mercury is an issue with human tuna, and while this was not what you were asking about, human tuna in oil is not a good choice for cats - tuna in water is better. (in small amounts daily - not as an exclusive diet). Tuna in oil can deplete their vitamin e leading to a disease called steatitis. Seafood/tuna cat foods are supplemented with vitamin e so that is not an issue with those.

I loved the ingredients in Merrick, and Clinton loved the taste but it didn't agree with him. The only canned food I've found that he likes and agrees with him is Natural Balance.

My cats love all canned food that comes in fish or liver flavors...mostly the stuff from Aldi or other store brands, thank god or my budget would be spent on cat food only! Especially Carter is really greedy now that he gets anti-allergic pills (the vet said they'd increase his appetite - they sure do!!!!)
Whenever I tell them its time for a meal, he follows me to the room where I keep the cans to make sure I really get his meal...
