I can't find the towels!

lol I think this is funny, but it could eventually be an issue.

Lily is a towel theif. Handtowels in the kitchen & bathrooms. Bath towels. I can't find any of the 3 missing hand towels. They have been missing since last night. I would imagine Lily is sleeping on them somewhere comfortable laughing at me right now! She jumps up & steals the towel from the front of the stove where it hangs. We put the towel on the counter instead of hanging it up & Twitch sleeps on it. Any ideas how we can keep our towels out of Lily reach & out from under Twitch's butt without keeping them in a drawer? We can't shut Lily out of the kitchen because of the location of it.

I don't know if it would work the same way with cats as it does dogs, but no harn in trying. Use some old towels for this though.

You can either buy the sour spray from a pet store, its green apple flavour I think, she would bite it, taste it, and spit it out.. and after a few tries of that she should realiz that the towels are yucky. Some people, for dogs, use cayanne pepper and sprinkle it on objects that the dog tries o eat or chew on, so that would also work.

Gordito ahs a habbit of taking off with our earrings if we left them on the coffee table or the desk.

Hehe. Our kitties like to pull them down but don't usually take them anywhere. But this morning Meeka was getting into the bathroom trash while I was taking a shower and since I couldnt' get to her I threw one of the bath towels at her. She grabbed the towel and pulled it out of the bathroom! It was really funny. I didn't know where she was going with it.

You're brilliant! They were under the recliner! We keep cayene pepper around for the dogs, so I am going to try some of that. Right now she is sleeping near me, so I am not worried about the towels disappearing until she wakes up.

that's just usually the first place I look now so i thought maybe your kitties were similar

have you tried a hook on the wall way pu high where she can't reach? Duke does tis with damp face cloths from the bathroom. I now hang them on the back of the door where he can't reach them
