My cat is in heat for the first time!

Okay well my kitty is in heat for the first time and she isn't being really super obnoxious, but she's being more obnoxious then usual. Is there anything I can do about that?

We're getting her spayed very soon. Is that going to stop her from future over obnoxiousness?

Nope, she will not quit until she goes out of heat or she is spayed. It can last anywhere from 4 days to weeks. The crying,rump raising and looking for attention every second will end when she is spayed.
