I love Maggie (my wedding dress is a Maggie as well)

That first one is beautiful!

Well, every bridal store in Montana (podunk Montana!!) carries Maggie.... At least, there's one or two in every big town that do. So it's a matter of finding that specific Maggie.

The knock off is an order online thing, although if you don't like it and return it within three days you can get a refund minus a small restocking fee.

I really like the Freya even though it's a bridesmaids dress... but I don't know if the skirt is wide enough to dance in.... *laugh*

Btw, does/has anyone had trouble with their Mom? I've always kinda thought that she would be really excited and would want to go looking for the dress with me and instead (granted she's busy) she's sort of lukewarm about it. When some of the stuff she's working on is over, I think I'll ask her about it... but any opinions/advice would be great too.

Also... if I'm talking to much... feel free to tell me to take it else where!

And Way To Go Solarity and Congratuations Jenny82!!!

Here are the bridesmaids dresses we're looking at!! I love them all! Making a final choice is going to be very hard! The first 2 have wonderful detailing on the back.

Any suggestions on which one we should get?

I love both!! I think I like the first better just because I am more fond of the bodice with the halter style. I like the small train on both. Mine has it a little too!

While everyone is sharing pics here are mine:

Ooooooo, very pretty!!! How well can you move with the train? Like, can you dance in it easily??? (Maybe a dumb question, sorry!)

Nice dresses - I sometimes think the simpler, the better. A simple dress can look really stunning....

We are having our wedding in Ireland and I managed to find a venueThe Old Inn. We are having our ceremony there too. It's a really old place - established in 1614! The pictures on the website really don't do it justice.... I'm hoping about 60 of our friends and family will be able to help us celebrate.

Actually I'll have a bustle so no need to worry abou the train while dancing
. Other dresses are designed to drape over your arm. The bustle works better for my style of dress.

That irish place looks awesome! I just love that look.

Only 10 days to go!

Hello beautiful brides-to-be!
I've missed you all and am just catching up on this thread. Wow, so many plans for so many ladies are really coming together!

Since I've been unemployed for over a month, I've had a LOT of time to work on the wedding stuff

So far, we've:
- chosen and ordered invitations and napkins
- finalized the guest list (182 people!)
- hired a videographer (woo hoo!)
- made hair and makeup appointments for the female members of the bridal party
- chosen the tux looks
- hired a wedding planner who will coordinate the rehearsal and day-of craziness
- had a food tasting and almost finalized the menu

Woo hoo! Now I can sit back and breathe for a minute and enjoy the three showers coming up!

Sounds like you've been a busy bee Amy!!, have you given any thought as to what you are going to use as your "first dance" song?, I still haven't made a decision
