How do some of you do it? This has been the hardest week of my life.. I have to find homes for 4 of my kitties and its breaking my heart
I don't want to send them somewhere that will keep them crated until adoption because there my babies.. Its just so hard to see them go.. Has anyone been in this situation before?? I just feel like crying and crying...

Does your city allow you to register as a fancier? Mine does. I would check into that. than as long as they are tended to you can have them.

hm maybe thats what they call it there. I know here we have Fancier and Rescue permits...as well as boarding.

I woudl think the city would gibe you the time for the meeting if you show them that you are attending and are fileign the paperwork

That, and if they say no, you could board your cats at your vet clinic or boarding facility until you can get the permit, then move them back home after that. That's what I would do! No way would I get rid of my babies! Ya gotta figure out some way!
Good luck!

Well they have the Missouri Department of AG involved.. Well see here's a short story..

I foster for a rescue group.. The lady who is in charge of our license hates our director so she is trying to close us down i think.. She found out i have 7 fosters in my house along with 8 of my own so she got my city involved

If it were our clinic, we would work something out...Could all 4 cats share the same cage? Then at least maybe the cost could go down...or would they take a payment arrangement? If you came to my clinic and told us your story, we would work something out for you...maybe they would?

What a cruel woman!!! You are just trying to do the right thing by these cats and she goes and does something vindictive like this!!!

I hope she rots in hell.
