Teufel is gone!

OMG...I have been thinking of you...and thinking of you, and HOPING your little kitty will have come back now.
PLEASE let us know, as soon as Teufel comes back home. OK?

Dear Fran - just dropped in hoping that Teufel had found his way home to you. So sorry that he hasn't. Don't give up hope - at least you've heard him and know he has got to be there somewhere. Just keep looking and calling him.

Sending more "Get yourself home, Teufel" vibes to him in the hope he can hear me and get himself back to you.

i dont know whether its smart but im going to borrow a leash and take kaylee out to see if she will guide me to him.
i havent heard and meows at all this night

kaylee wont stop doing thios deep meow and throwing her self onto walls...

Is there any way Teufel could have gotten into the walls?

We had an opening in the back of one of our closets that had come unblocked and Crystal and stormy had got into the wall and we had to call and use a flashlight to guide them back to the opening. (the ferrets got in as well, on another occasion!)

I was wondering this same thing! I mentioned it in a earlier post, but I know Fran has been busy looking for her baby. Fran, if you can I would walk along each wall, with all TVs, radios, etc. turned off so it is totally quiet. As so you walk a long the wall, call his name then listen. Good luck, you are in my thoughts!

Fran it would be a good idea to double check the walls if you haven't all ready done so. Since you heard the meows, and now Kaylee is throwing herself onto the walls, it could be that she hears something that you don't.

Be careful with Kaylee out on the leash, if she isn't used to going outside she probably won't just walk around right away. It will probably scare her a bit. And please make sure you use a good harness, don't just attach the leash to the collar because she could break away very easily. I know that you know these things, but thought I would remind you. I know your tired and trying to do everything you can to find your baby.

I had a cat disappear, only to find out he had went down a old furnace pipe that led to the crawl space in my apartment. I had no idea it was even there because the hot water heater was in front of it. I could hear him meowing but didn't have any idea where he was. I figured it out in the end and got him out. Sending good {{{{{vibes}}}}} for Teufel!!!

I will think good thoughts - cats can get into nooks and crannies we may not even be aware of - recall that story of the cat stuck inside the plaster or drywall of a recebtly constructed home? Are there some unknown places in your home?

i have checked all walls and fllors before i moved into this house. he definetely couldnt have gotten anywhere.

i am worried sick.
i told ben that if elderly person took him id understand.. but the fact he hasnt come back by now, no more meows and noone replying ben is telling nme to expect the worst

If he is outside - as it sounds like (I had not read all the posts before till now), he is mopst likely in hiding and even the most tame kitty becomes fearful and acts almost feral (will even run from their person for ex) when scared and lost. Have you thought of setting a trap? A safe one that cat trappers use - if you can get one there? Putr his fav food in it and it may lure him. Have you read the Catinthebag web site? There are many good ideas there too, like the Pet Detective and lost pets sites.

I would be sooo upset if this happened to YY or the Sphynx Girls!! But you never know with cats!
