treat recipes

Hi all

I just wanted to pick your brain for some great ideas. I would love to be able to give Clinton healthy fresh treats. Unfortunately, I have yet to find a local pet bakery that still makes cat treats. I have seen so many recipes for dog treats and figured that they have to be out there for our kitties too! So, I was just wondering if any of you have healthy cat treat recipes that your furkids went crazy for?

I just made up this recipe for my crew...3 of them rate it 2 paws up, while the 4th (& pickiest) gave it paws down.

This is a good treat, if you don't mind the smell!
Kitty Heaven Sardine Surprise
2 flat cans of sardines in oil (don't drain)
2/3 cups cooked rice
1 Tbsp canned liver cat food
1/4 cup chopped parsley
Combine all ingredients and mix well. Shape into balls of desired size or just spoon into cat's dish and serve. These can be kept in the fridge for up to three days, and can also be frozen.
