It was nice and warm today - so I was planning to grill for the first time in a while - now the temperature is dropping and the wind is picking up! Looks liek I will be cold while cooking

I bought some boneless chicken breasts at the store and I had and old bottle of "mojito" drink mix hanging around. I added pepper and garlic and have the chicken marinating in it. Should be interesting. I also have asparagus marinating to grill. I bought a bag of broccoli slaw and will add some dressing to it.

What are you having tonight?

Will Gema make the pizza, or will you buy it somewhere?

Tuna and red onion quiche, with a tomato salad (last of our tomatoes - autumn seems to be here to stay).

Grilling's over for us this year. I could. But I'm not much into being cold while I cook.

Not sure what's on the menu, but looking back over the last few Fridays (our night for a special dinner), I think we're due for some salmon or some veal. I'll pay a visit to the market on the way home and see what looks nice. Either way, probably some jasmine rice and a salad of designer greens with herbs, pomegranate seeds, toasted almonds and feta cheese, to go with it.

It's still pretty warm here. So we are grilling out hotdogs. Lots of chip and salsa. Maybe if I'm really good I might have a bowl of ice cream too.

Tonight I'm going out with a pilot that I met at the Columbia, SC airport!!!! EEEEK! This is the first time I've gone out since Brendan and I broke up and I'm freakingggg out! We're going to one of my favorite places, Cafe TuTu Tango. It's really fun, lots of local artwork everywhere, only appetizers on the menu, and lots of fun drinks!

Wish me luck guys! My best friend is on her way over right now to help me pick out my outfit.

Tonight is leftover night. I have leftover beef stew from yesterday (done in the slow cooker and quite tasty) and I have some penne with homemade fresh tomato and basil sauce from Wednesday night - so we'll clean up those out of the :censor::censor::censor::censor:. John will probably have the beef stew and I'll have the penne.
