Hey there, I just posted a plea for help on the behavior forum, but in short, I grew up with cats, and had cats through till I got married. Cats we got as kittens, cats that just walked in and stayed, and cats we rescued. Then suffered an 18 year spell of no kitties (took me that long to talk my non-kitty friendly hubby into a kitty), and we now have 2 buddies. 3 year old Cheetah that we've had since she was a kitten, teenage kitty attitude personified, and Katie, a new addition to our home after my mom's death. I have 4 children from 15-6, so our kitties get LOTS of attention, mostly good, and occasionally, my non-kitty friendly hubby gets caught calling Cheetah "pretty kitty" when he thinks no one is looking....he's a closet kitty person! Trying desparately to figure out how to get my 2 kitties to co-exist without killing one another, and that's about it! OH...I LOVE cats! I love their independence, their intelligence, their sense of humor and their furry little presence.
