As you know I am feeding a stray, so I keep the dry and canned food in my room. My 2 cats are on diet food because of there weight, but i'm feeding the stray regular food. Now it's Flash who LOVES food.
Everytime I go upstairs, no matter if shes sleeping, eating, or using the litterbox, she will stop what she is doing run up to my room and meow at me. Now I figured she wanted some dry food as a treat, so I give her a little, but not in my room. Now after she finishes it and I go back upstairs she still begs for more food, she will do this EVERY time im in my room, even with company. She has never done this before. I also want to ask about another habit she has.

Mostly everyday at around 8:00 am or 9:00, she will keep crying at my bedroom door. Normally I wake up at 10:30. She does this until I get up. I open the back door for her to look out, she comes back. I brush and feed her, she comes back. I play with her, she comes back. I keep my bedroom door open so she can sleep in my room, she meows for me to get up and waits right outside my door. I have no idea what she could possibly want so bad this early in the morning? I've tried everything but most of the time she continues until I stay up, and dont go back to bed. Sometimes I dont hear her because im so tired and fast asleep. This ONLY happens in the late fall and winter each year, what could it be?

My cats have trained me to wake up between 4:30 and 5 a.m! Once I am up it doesn't matter when I feed them. They know that once I am awake they'll be fed so to them, what if breakfast is served 1 or 2 hours after meowmy drags herself out of bed?

Yeah but after I feed her and go back to bed she comes up and starts meowing again. And the strangest thing is it's not all year round, only the fall and winter?
