I'm so glad that others loved Turk 182 too!
For years everyone thought that I had had a dream and believed it was a film! I actually ended up buying it on the old video (can't remember the name of it....the small chunky thing) just so that I can prove it! Just such a shame that I haven't found a player for it yet!

I have to jump on the John Hughes bandwagon too. A few of our friends are thinking of renting a ton of movies and doing a "John Hughes" night!

Let's see - Pretty in Pink, St. Elmos Fire, The Breakfast Club, Say Anything, Risky Business, Vision Quest, Sixteen Candles, Mr. Mom, Hiding Out....

7. The Terminator (1984) This one still rates #1 on the creepy/cheesy factor !
You got some of my favorites in there that I didn't list....Less Than Zero, The Lost Boys, Footloose. OH, and About Last Night, with Rob Lowe and Demi Moore. The Pick-up Artist, with Robert Downey, Jr. was another good one. There are just too many!!!

OH! I forgot about Lost Boys! I love, love, love that movie!

Man, I guess you can tell that a lot of us are around the same age, and were teens in the 80s. John Hughes ruled our teenage worlds!
I know there were some real great movies made in the 80s, but I distinctly remember the ones that spoke to me as a teen.

I rarely watched T.V. in the 80's, but I've watched "old" movies since then--but I can't remember what year they came out. I know The Breakfast Club was an 80's movie...Dirty Dancing; anything with Molly Ringwald (Pretty in Pink is my second favorite, after TBC); The Lost Boys; Ferris B's Day Off. Were the movies with 'the Coreys' in the 80's? I had a crush on the cute one, so I like their movies. Goonies was in the 80's? Geesh, I don't know. I'll just go with the Breakfast Club.

Oh! Little Monsters! Was that in the 80's? Loved Fred Savage!
