LOL LOL LOL!!!

Max actually said, `Contact the zoo so we can find out where to get some Asian Tigers and then we'll let them wander into her yard and see what she does THEN'

Let's put it this way, she knew she had made a mistake saying that to me from what I said to her afterwards, and hopefully she'll get busted for it.

If she is a (bad) nurse, and she also has animals killed, then what does she do with the human patients that she doesn't like that are under her care? Killing animals is one of the first BIG red flags for much worse behavior towards people.

Yikes. Good for you for warning others about her.

Yeah, that's really true. We had a patient a few weeks ago (and this is what started her and I not getting along) who has biliary cancer and needed a stent put into his bile duct. I arranged the procedure for the next morning, which happened to be a Saturday. I called an anaesthetist and so he and my boss were both coming in on their weekend to do the procedure. This lady - who happened to be the on-call nurse for the weekend - had a fit and said she refused to come in because it was not an emergency.

????????????

The guy was dying of cancer, couldn't eat, drink or swallow, and that's not an emergency?????

i would contact the place she does this at. they may already have an idea that the cats aren't hers but have no way to prove it. and you have to go by what people say no matter what the condition of the animal. it sucks i know but still i'd call the place, but she might very well go someplace else. i don't know if thats a crime or not, but if might. i just hope nnon of the cats have collars or microchips. thats just not fair

...doesn't she understand what on call is?...
That's what I said to her - hence we have been at loggerheads ever since. I said if she wanted to call the patient's daughter and let her know that she didn't feel like coming in because she didn't think it was important enough that was fine by me, and she could explain to the family just what she thought an urgent case actually was.

Needless to say she doesn't like me very much!

Yes, I sent a letter to the place, and also the RSPCA. Perth's pretty small so there's not really any other places she can go to have an animal put down, and vets would just get suss if she tried that, plus it would cost her a lot more.

Yeah I'm devastated....lol....

My boss said earlier, `She's just a miserable misanthrope who thinks she's some iconic bad guy who has something to say to everyone'.

And the anaesthetist came in afterwards and said, `She's such a weirdo, she says the most bizarre things just to stir you up, I don't know anyone who thinks she's normal!!'

So that made me feel better....lol!

Well I truly hope that she was just ''stirring you up" I don't suppose they're allowed to contact you and let you know if she really is doing it? probably confidential or something....

No I doubt it - I don't mind if they don't get in touch with me, though. I just want to make sure it stops happening and if she gets punished for doing it that would be an added bonus. But of course, mostly I hope it's not true at all and that she's just a miserable weirdo who says things like that to upset people.

Whether she actually does these things she says, or just thinks them, or says them to stir other people up, she is still evil and horrible nonetheless. If it extends to the care of people she is entrusted with, then there are more letters for someone to write, and very soon.

Why are people like that? I used to work with a girl like that who would rag on Harry Potter just because my friend (also a manager) liked it! then she would get into this huge religious debate over a BOOK series! At least she didn't kill cats though she liked them. I just don't understand a lot of people right now...

I can't believe someone would actually admit to doing this. I'm glad you reported her. Hopefully she will be contacted and have some sense knocked into her head that people take her comments seriously. Good job!!
