Does anyone out there...

I near sited and i wear both contacts and glasses

I'm short sighted with astygmatism and wear glasses all the time. I wore contacts for a while but couldn't be doing with poking myself in the eye everyday!

i dont need them

I've worn them since age 8! Unfortunately I can't use the computer with contacts on,so I don't wear those very often. Last time I wore them was my wedding day!

Actually I had lasik surgery about 4 years ago now, and it's wonderful! But, now that I don't HAVE to wear glasses, sometimes I see some really cute fashionable ones and wish I could wear them again! Sometimes....lol

Yes, but only contacts at the moment. I have this weird habit of breaking glasses (three in five years).

Only when I REALLY NEED to see something! (I hate wearing glasses)

Not exactly. I used to be pretty near-sighted - like about -4.50 I think. But I got cataracts at the age of about 30, so I have lens implants that make me see 20-20. (and sometimes even 20-15!) But they don't work like regular (real) lenses, so I use bifocal contacts to see near.

I wore contacts until Dec of 99 when I had my LASIK procedure! Best money ever spent on myself! I used to not be able to see the big X on the eye chart and felt quite helpless without my contacts. I now have 20/15 vision!

Wasn't it wonderful? Like the MINUTE my surgery was over, I could see almost perfectly! Would recommend to anyone!
