Guess who was featured in a big spread in our local newspaper over the weekend? It was local boy George Clooney.

I'm really ready for a date now! So, per Tari's suggestion how about helping me plan a virtual date?

(see this thread for background)

Captiva suggested a romantic dinner at his villa, which sounds just about perfect, but I'm also open to other ideas. For something local, I was thinking maybe a dinner cruise on the Ohio River with dancing afterward. Any other suggestions? I'll need advice on what to wear too and maybe some things we can talk about.

Oh, I agree with the Italian villa - and of course he will pick you up in his private jet to take you there.

I do not recommend playing any sports such as softball, tennis, bowling, etc. on your date. Who could concentrate when you have GEORGE CLOONEY to stare at??

Hmmm.... something local. How about a trip down the Ohio on the American Queen Steamboat. The Fall Foliage Tour and it stops in Maysville, the birthplace of his father and aunt. You can at least act like you are interested in his family tree even if you aren't .
After a wonderful dinner, you can go dancing ( no one will be bothering him because he's famous because it's YOUR virtual date
). Top the evening off with a walk on the deck in the moonlight. Make sure you leave your shawl at home so he has to loan you his jacket because when you tell him you're cold
