Hi

I have a 11mth old cat called Mystique but I usually call her Little Puss
I have kept putting of spaying her and now i think she might be pregnant.

Her stomach seems to be getting bigger everyday its like hanging below and when i pick her up she feels like she has a ball in her stomach also i think her nipples are getting bigger but i cant be sure as i havent really looked at them much before and one nipple was bleeding( is it just cos she got a scratch or something)

I am very very scared although probably shouldnt be its mostly because she is still my little baby i have put towels out everywhere where she might go to nest but i dont really know anything

I have some questions

1.Do they mostly give birth at night or daytime or anytime?

2.There is this big cat that always hangs around our house on our deck and stuff it has tried a few times to get into the house even and once hitmanaged to get through an open ranch slider i dont even know if its male or female but if its a he is it likely that he is the father?

3.Do they like to give birth in inclosed spaces or open or anywhere

4.Do the kittens mirror there parents

5.What is the average number of kittens

Please help !!!!

Thanks alot

Ava

Ava....it's best to get your cat checked by a vet to verify that she is indeed pregnant.

Anytime.

2.There is this big cat that always hangs around our house on our deck and stuff it has tried a few times to get into the house even and once hitmanaged to get through an open ranch slider i dont even know if its male or female but if its a he is it likely that he is the father?
Could be....could be another cat. Since you did not see her mate....it would be impossible to tell for sure. I would recommend however that your cat remain indoors until you determine whether she is pregnant and if she is....until she has had her kittens and can be spayed. Other than the issues of mating with a cat you do not know, there are diseases that can be easily spread through mating.

3.Do they like to give birth in inclosed spaces or open or anywhere
Anywhere....so best to keep her indoors for now. This post explains how to create a nesting box:

4.Do the kittens mirror there parents
No more than you mirror your parents....kittens have genes from both parents and can sometimes look like their mom or dad, but they will not be a "mini her"

5.What is the average number of kittens
Depends on the cat....again, you should take your cat to be seen by a vet. The vet will be able to tell you if she is indeed pregnant.

You need to take her to the vet to see if she is pregnant or has worms. If she is not pregnant, please have her spayed.

umm the prob is my mum wont take her to the vet she says if she has kittens she has them and then she will take her to the vet to get her spayed i have put towels and newspaper around the house

I am having trouble keeping her inside as she always sits and meows at the door.I havent let her out but my brother and my sister keep letting her out like this morning i got up to the sound of her growling and i went outside and she was fighting with the suspected father

so.. seeing i cant take her to the vet what am i to do??
my mum says we have had a pregnant cat before she was about the same age and everything went fine but she also said when she went to get her spayed not long after she had had the kittens she was already pregnant again so she had to get rid of them.I was wondering how long after one litter can a cat get pregnant again?

A cat can get pregnant again almost immediately after giving birth..which is why it is critical this cat remain indoors only until she has been spayed (if she is indeed pregnant, once she gives birth she will need to remain indoors only). It is a shame your mom will not allow you to take this cat to the vet...that is the only way to know for sure whether she is pregnant or not. If she is not already pregnant, she will be if you keep letting her outdoors.
