My new boots arrived today

I live in the community where I grew up. A guy who was in my class in school has always played the piano at the little country church. He came over last night and brought me a c/d recorded of his piano playing in memory of my grandmother. It has all her favorites that she loved to hear him play. What makes it so special is my grandmother is the one who raised me, so she was really like my mother.

Reilly always makes me smile..he's been walking laps around my chair with his hippo toy in his mouth.

Today is our 2 year wedding anniversary (even though he is in Vegas for work.)

Well, that made me pretty happy

!

I just fixed the two doors that have been sticking (yay! This entailed taking them down, taking the knobs off, and planing down the front edge to a bevel, why I've been putting it off

) I put my recessed lights in the kitchen this weekend, I can SEE in there now (yay!)! And the patch I put where the old light was in the center of the kitchen ceiling looks like it's going to be invisible once I get it painted (yay!)

Today is a beautiful fall day here in Michigan. The trees are finally really starting to turn, the sun is shining and the temp is not too cold or too hot. PERFECT day!

I was working on a new listers for www.meowhoo.com yesterday and sent out my welcome letters and this morning I get a reply from a merchant. Turns out I know him from my childhood and he went to one of my websites that are listed in my email read a story I wrote and put two and two together and wants to get together with Mike and I next year! LOL I had a massive crush on him in high school. He was captain of the water polo team and we used to be study partners in World History.

A happy thing for me today is that this afternoon I have an interview with a new pet-sitting client, a puggle puppy. Can't wait to meet the pup and his owner!

I woke up to one cat cuddled at the back of my neck and the other laying by my chest, both looking so sweet and cuddley. Both were sleeping and purring.

I actually have both hands to type for a while because I finally got Cupid off me and content laying somewhere else. Ahhhh...freedom.

I'm off work now until Friday 4pm. Yey!!!
