Member Spotlight for the week is caprice, Candie!! I hope you have a great week!

I'm starting this a little early since I probably won't be on until late tomorrow. I really enjoyed this week and I hope you do too Candie!

I will start you off with a few questions..............

How did Mittens come into your life?

Do you plan on getting any more cats or is Mittens happy being the only cat?

Do Mittens and Watson get along?

Have you always lived in Texas?

This is gonna be a fun week!!!!!!!

How did Mittens come into your life? Well, it was right after Christmas 2002 and Zack had a job interview at the company he works at right now....and I just knew he was going to get the job!! I told him no doubt in my mind he would get it!! I guess he didn't believe because he said...well, if I get the job, what do you want?! HAHA...a cat!! So, I immediately looked in the paper and a couple was giving their cat away because they were having a baby....but I didn't call them until I knew for sure...the next day, Zack called and said "You can have the cat you want!!" So, we went to pick up Mittens from his owners Jan 1st 2003!

Do you plan on getting any more cats or is Mittens happy being the only cat? Mittens loves being the only cat, I don't think he would do good with any other ones!

Do Mittens and Watson get along? Oh yes, they love each other...I wanted to take a picture of them sleeping on the same blanket last night, but it was too dark....they are so cute! They sometimes chase each other down the hallway!

Have you always lived in Texas? Yes, I have always lived in Texas...I did though live with my dad in Birmingham, Alabama for the summer when I was 8 years old, but I don't think that counts!

Do you like living where you are now or would you rather live somewhere else? Now, that's a hard question! I always ask myself that. I love where I live now, but would love to live closer to my mother, when I lived with my dad after high school...I had to move back in with her, our relationship is perfect and I hate being a good 30 minutes away from her. Before we moved into the house we live now, she lived behind us....so you can imagine!

Where is your favorite place to shop? I love Target! I just went there yesterday and spent way too much!

What is your favorite scent?[/font][/quote] I really like the Pumpkin and Harvest smells this time of year. But, I also like Bath & Body Works scents: Black Raspberry Vanilla, Manadarin Mango and anything Cucumber.

* What did you have for breakfast this morning? I had a glass of milk and a Nutri-grain bar (strawberry)

Eww...well now I am at work...about to start my day, so I'll be working and reading The Awakening by Kate Chopin for my American Lit class and also getting prepared for an Art & Religion developments test tomorrow evening! Oh, and I can't forget--watching the Astros win tonight so they can go to the World Series!!!!!!!!

* If not would you ever come here and where would you like to visit? Yes, I would...I would like to go to Calgary, Toronto... and also visit different parts and maybe meet some TCS members!
* Could you post a picture of Mittens taking a nap? I don't have any pics of Mittens taking a nap, he's a very light sleeper...but I'll post a updated pic of him today or sometime this week!
* Do you drink coffee/tea or other? I love coffee and tea, and lemonade...diet coke....and water! I think I drink Diet Coke more than anything!
* How do you take it? I love sweet tea, but I usually take it unsweetened. Don't need all the sugar! I love my coffee with milk!
* Halloween will soon be here!!!..will you be decorating? Yes! BOO! hehe....we put out a pumpkin yesterday and we need a few decorations and permission from my next door neighbor before I go all out because we share a porch....I don't think he'll mind though!

* Will you be dressing up? Probably not, but if my sister has her usual party, I might go as a band nerd or Daisy (Dukes of Hazzard)

How is Mittens weight loss plan going? He is doing pretty well, he's lost 5 pounds so far. We've been stuck on 19 pounds for a few weeks, but I am not rushing it, he's been real happy and very active!

What is Mittens favorite food? He loves his regular food, but he tries to steal any of our food that we have especially anything that is milk based!

Do you like your current job? Sometimes. It has its days!

What would you like to be doing in the future? I want to teach art for an elementary school, if I can't do that, I would just like to be a general educator for 1st graders!

Do you have any brothers or sisters? I have 2 half sisters: Ashley (18 years old) & Allyson (9 years old)

Do you want kids? Yes, very much so...maybe in a year or two

What do you like to do in your spare time? Well, I like to watch tv when I can and go shopping and go to the museums.

Have you ever been to the NY/NJ or PA area?
No, I haven't. But, we plan to make a trip up to NY because Zack's aunt lives up there near Albany.

I've actually never seen a foreign movie

2.- If you could travel in time wich age would you like to visit and who person from our history would you like to meet?I think I would like to go back in the late 1800's and early 1900's so I could meet my ancestors...
3.- If you have the money power to moved, wich part of the world would like to take of home? I would love to move to somewhere where there are lots of mountains and lots of snow during the winter.
4.- If you could ask for a wish, what would be? To not have so much to do today---

Parades for me are.......Events with cars and people marching, singing or dancing like is used to do in New ORleans Carnivals.........and the people go to the streets to see the line.........Other members from the forum tell me that they enjoy a lot the MacyÂ´s Parado ....or Chritsmas Parade.............Furthermore, every 1 of January all colleges make the parades of American Football from their schools.....
