So I went ahead and ordered the cat stroller. I got this one :

I'm hoping taking her out for a walk in the stroller will help get rid of some of that nervous energy she has that drives me and my roommates crazy in our tiny apt.
But is it possible the stroller will make her more stircrazy because she's being stimulated by everything outside, but isn't allowed to actually get out of the stroller and run around?

I made a baby sling for my youngest daughter as a baby, now our cat loves to ride around in it. My oldest daughter carries the cat around in it all day long. I just used a light weight cotton fabric with two metal rings to make mine so you can adjust how much play you need in the sling. (my daughter is afraid the kitten will get cold so she wraps her in a blanket before putting her in the sling)

Ever cute! I don't think Chester would take kindly to that, but I'll tell you, my Natasha would have loved it when she was alive. Maybe when he de-energises a bit

my cat stroller arrived and I took Miko for a test run in it. But she seemed to hate it! She yowled and cried like she does in a car.
Will she get used to it? Or should I stop torturing her and give up?

Well, you can't just stick a cat in the stroller and go out for a walk with it. The cat will be terrified. You have to introduce the stroller to the cat a little bit at a time, just like you introduce a new cat to another cat. Here's how:

1 - put the stroller somewhere the cat cat find it and just leave it be for the cat to investigate on its own time. Hopefully the cat will check it out and maybe even jump inside when it's satisfied it's safe. Do this for several days. If your cat isn't interested in getting inside, then put something inside the cat likes -- a cat toy and/or a cat treat so it will have a positive experience getting inside.

2 - when the cat is comfortable with being in the stationary stroller inside your house, then start moving the stroller around with the cat inside just a little bit at a time. Leave it open so the cat can get out if it's uncomfortable. Do this until the cat is comfortable in the stroller being pushed around inside the house.

3 - get the cat used to you putting it in and taking it out and closing the opening.

4 - take the stroller outside near the house during a quiet time of day, and let it sit. Take the cat outside and put the cat in the stroller. If the cat is nervous, take it out and back in the house right away. Repeat this until the cat is comfortable sitting in the stroller outside.

5 - now start taking the stroller a little bit away from the house and farther and farther until the cat is used to being pushed outside in the stroller. Do this when it's quiet outside -- no other people or dogs to excite the cat. As the cat becomes accustomed to being pushed outside in the stroller, you can go farther and for longer periods of time, but always be prepared to immediately go back home if the cat gets antsy.

abnihon - I recommend you just put the stroller away for a couple months and let Miko forget about it. You got off to a bad start. Try again when Miko has forgotten to be afraid of the stroller. Good luck.
