I have my first special needs kitten and i need information. my vet has diagnosed diget (the kitten) with cervical vertebral instability or wobblers disease. all the information i can find on this condition refers to doge. does any one know if cat can have this condition? is it progressive? treatable? will diet help? Can someone help me care for this wonderful little guy?

done a bit of reading for you myself, and all I can find is dog-related as well I'm afraid. That being said, what I have read says the condition is nearly always treatable, and may take the form of a treatment of steroids, brace, or surgery. I'd take that all as positive news, but dont feel afraid to go back to your vet and ask for a full explanation, that's what you pay them for.
