Hurricane Katrina forward I recieved...(photos)

I received these photos via email and they are absolutely incredible! The photos were so amazing, I took a moment to learn their origin, and it seems they were taken by a storm chaser named Mike Hollingshead. Here is his website, it contains many fantastic shots of storms!
The photos arrived claiming to be of Hurricane Katrina, but, as remarkable as the photos are, they were taken between 2002-2004 of storms in Kansas and Nebraska. Here is the link to Snopes .

those are the coolest photos i have ever seen. probably because if i lived down there i would of been taking those pictures too

Wow. I'm not scared of weather generally, but if I saw that in person I do believe I would be. And yet—it's so beautiful.

What an amazing picture. Scary to think what nature is capable of. I don't know if I'd be able to stick around that long to get a picture like that!!

I think so too--I thought they were beautiful and scary...I wouldn't wanna be around when that hits...

Those pictures are great, but I think they are actually of tornadoes. Of course hurricanes can spawn tornadoes so they could be from Katrina.

Yeah...like I said, I wasnt sure if they were really from the hurricane or not, but I thought they were really cool pictures none the less!!

I got those a few days ago as well! I think they're beautiful to look at...it's almost hard to imagine how scary it would be to see them in person because they look so beautiful and peaceful on film.

Ran across something on the net ... apparently, these are pictures of various storms. Supercells, most of them, but not hurricanes. I wondered how the photographer got that much persective. Still, awesome photos.

I really love the pictures, that website that I have listed is so amazing, I have to give that guy who takes those pictures so much credit, I would be so scared. He's definately an amazing photgrapher!
