I know that sometimes when I'm depressed, making some sort of plans for a month or two ahead, just to give me a short-term "goodie" to look forward to helps. Get tickets to a show, plan a weekend getaway, or plan a special evening for no reason other than just to do it! Whatever you decide to do, make sure that there is a month or two between now and the date you decide to do it, so that in the meantime you'll have it to look forward to! Hope this helps.

It could be a really bad case of PMS. I tend to cry and feel really Blah, when I'm PMSing. I hope that's what it is, since you really don't want to be pregnant.

It's not that I really don't want to be...its just that I'm not really ready to be! Financially wise anyways! But if this is whats going to happen, I'm willing to open it all with open arms...God always has a reason for everything...right?

Baby, you shouldn't put your self through this waiting. Why don't you take a test?

*sigh*...I was just thinking that maybe I should just wait until tomorrow...and if things don't arrive as planned...then I should take one?...how long does it take for something like that to show? I've never had to take one before....

They have tests that will show you right away. I think it is First Response.

Take one.
Having a period is no guarantee you're not pregnant.
My sister continued having a regular period with all three pregnancies until the 4th month.

These tests are to detect Human Chorionic Gonadotrophin (hCG), a hormone secreted from the placenta into the maternal circulation with a role in the maintenance the pregnancy. Even the most sensitive tests generally require that you wait until the first day you miss your period, so tomorrow would be an appropriate day to test. Keep in mind that you could get a false negative if the test did not detect the hormone. If you're going to test this early, it is best to use your first morning urine because this is when the hormone is most concentrated.

Sure hope this does not become an issue for you.
Baby Harley is all the baby you need right now!

I agree with testing - early knowing is a good thing! Also, it may be something with the seasons; fall has always bothered me because of the shifting light patterns. That can pop up at any time, and be pretty random! Also, if you are not pregnant and stay this way for more than two weeks, it's time to see a doctor. Depression can be random and rapid.

I have a long history, but one fall I had a major episode, and believe it or not, it was because I didn't get into the choir at college I wanted to be in! I was still in a good one, but not the best. For some reason, I just cried and cried...and felt wierd, and started losing weight, etc. I waited too long, and got very sick. I am about the only one I know who talks about this stuff... perhaps I shouldn't??

But I'm guessing that your mood is more transitory. Good luck with all things, and make sure you don't put off seeing a doctor if there are any medical or persistent mood changes.

It is more accurate with the first morning urine, so you should do it in the morning. Hopefully it is just a case of PMS + stress + hormones. I'll be watching for the results!

I was talking to my friend here the other day and she told me, "oh, maybe you are pregnant" (from my crying spirts) I was like oh great, thats all that I need...being 21 and unmarried and pregnant...that made me cry again!
