Sometimes I see Snowball doing something really cute and I try to take his picture, but it never seems to work out!!
For example, last night he was sleeping, and he looked so cute I decided to take a picture. I got out the camera, and just when I was about to take the picture he woke up, saw the camera, and walked over to me.
Then my son and I decided to take a picture of Snowball sitting in my lap. Snowball realized what was happening, and while he was trying to get away, he was meowing and it sounded like "no no no!!" We took the picture anyway.
I am planing to get a scanner soon, and then I will be able to share some pictures here. I was just wondering how people manage to take all these really cute cat pictures I keep seeing?

I'm not a great photographer, but I did have good luck with the pics of my cats that Catarina posted for me quite some time ago...
I just got lucky, I guess. I take ALOT of pictures, because usually only half of them are any good...

Can't wait to see your pictures! I'm sure they will be great!

Same here..I take tons of pics on my digital to get very few really good ones. I think unless yoiu're a pro, its a matter of luck. My cats aren't exactly cooperative most times. I can totally relate to the cat getting up and walking towards the camera, mine always do that!
Most of my pics end up being close up shots of cute little kitty mugs

For every good one I take, there are about 10 lousy ones.

My cat Squirt knows the sound of the camera turning on, and flees when he hears it. Joey doesn't mind it, so I get more good ones of him.

No matter what, most of the time, the eyes are all messed up from reflecting the flash.

I have better luck with the digital too, but it's a cheapo model, so I can't get good stuff like zoom.

At least with the digital, I feel like I'm not wasting film on the rotten shots.

Thats what I love about my digital too Deb. I can preview the pic immediately after I take it so I can see if I need to take another by using the little view screen on it. The best part is the delete button. No wasting film for me

I am also a lousy photographer as you saw with the pictures of Rascal. He moves too much. I bought one of those films were you can take a picture even while they move.

I can get some really cute pictures, but sometimes they wake up by the time I run and get the camera and come back. I'll find some good ones that I took with my digital camera and post those.
