On the right day, I've been told I sing like Jewel

Also, I can complete almost ANY crossword puzzle without cheating (including the NY Times Sunday edition!)

Is the ability to clean up poop, puke, and unidentified objects rubbed from unknown openings on the carpet WITHOUT feeling ill considered a talent???

If so: that's my talent. Everything else I do is normal.

I developed this talent while sitting through one particularly boring class (statistics) in college

.... have to add (sheepishly
) ... Cat puke, no problem.

KID puke? Major problem!...

...then again cats don't eat mac & cheese, popcorn & watermelon in one fell swoop and then aim directly at the wall or your face and let it fly.

I've danced for so long that I have great balance! That's my special talent!
You would never want to go up against me on one of those rubber jousting things they have in fairs! I've never lost at that!

I'm really out of practice, but my talent is being able to read the wind for high power rifle competition. We shoot at 300 and 600 yards as part of the National Match Course, and you have to be able to see, with wind flags and mirage, how the wind is going to affect the bullet to shoot accurately (i.e. the X ring is 6 inches in diameter at 600 yards, 3 inches in diameter at 300 yards). Although my father is absolutely one of the BEST wind coaches in the country (as evidenced this year by coaching the winning 2-man and 6-man Junior teams at the National Matches
), he still tells people that I am the best wind reader he's ever seen.
I certainly wouldn't go that far, but that's what he says.

I have a real talent for getting into trouble!
Just kidding.

Mine would have to be singing and writing (usually songs and some poetry).

I also think my ability to be an advocate for children and animals, the two things I'm very passionate about.

You know, this is really a great thread. It's so easy to think of ourselves in terms of how much lesser we are in comparison to someone else, but it really makes you feel good to have to think about something that is a real talent.
And everyone who has posted here has wonderful talents.
