Little League Semi-Finales

Rancho Buena Vista...our local Little League team, just won their semi-final game in the L.L. World Series.
They will be playing for the world championship on Sat.
Way to go boys.

I watched the Maitland, FL team win on Saturday.

I see they beat Maitland. Who is Vista playing on Saturday?

Vista will play the team that wins the next semi-final. I am not sure who is playing in that yet.
I looked it up on ESPN & it turns out that Vista will be playing for the US Championship.
Maybe someone can explain it to me.
All I know is ... a lot of people in my area are really proud of these wonderful boys.

I hope they don't play Japan. I really want the United States to win the LLWS. A couple of years ago Boyton Beach, FL went to the Championship Game against Japan, and got beat by Babe Ruth. The kid who beat them pitched a great game and hit a grandslam.

I'll be cheering for them.

Sunday...the team that wins that game will play either Japan or Curacao for the World Championship.
I do not keep up with pro-ball but I raised two sons and we had so much fun at Little League games, I am really enjoying watching these boys from all of the teams. They are our future & its looks great.

Vista CA just played Japan for the 3rd place position in the Little League World Series & won the game.
Our whole community is very proud of these young boys.
