Best Friend, Long time no see...

Tonight I saw my best friend from school. I have know her since like second grade and I saw her at Long's Drug Store right when we were at the checkout. My husband about flipped, as you know when we girls see a friend the screams come out. I was so excited and still am. I want to call her but it's real late. We exchanged phone numbers and all. we haven't seen eachother since I was 6 months pregnant with my son, right before I left to move to Georgia. We moved back to Cali when he was 2 weeks and he is now 4 1/2 years old. It shouldn't have been this long, but I am so happy to have seen her. She was a wonderful friend.

I was wondering if there are any stories like this. I can't wait to call her tomorrow. We just got separated be me getting married right after our Jr. year in High School and I got pregnant, that kind of thing.

I am just so happy and wanted to share.

It's great to find an old friend!! I'm still close with my best friend from high school, and it's been 22 years! Having friends that you've known that long helps anchor us in life, I think!

Oh, I hope that we can lieve off from where we left off also. It was just so exciting to see her. I'm going to call her tonight. She said she gets off work around 5, so I'll call her after that. I was jsut so thrilled. I was just thinking the other day how great it would be to have a great friend in my life to do the girl talk with and I run into her. How cool.
