Hi all! I'm Kate, new mommy to Toby (or Rory, we'll find out in a few weeks when he/she goes for his/her distemper shot at the vets)... a day shy of 7 weeks old, a coal-tabby Maine Coon kitten. We inherited Toby from friends who after 3 days found out they were allergic to the poor thing, so we decided to take him in temporaraly, and our dog (Piper, 1yro pom pup) just fell in love with him. She plays mommy and at the slightest "meow" is right by his side. They sleep together, eat together and im surprised piper hasnt tried to go potty in Toby's litterbox yet, they are absolutely inseperable. Its discusting LOL.
But anyways, um, I'm 24, married 5 1/2 years to Doug. We're a military family, I'm prior active duty air force 99-03, and he's still active duty. We're stationed here at Eglin AFB, near Niceville, FL. Its gorgeous, and we love it. Spent 5 long years in the hot west texas sun of Abilene, TX, so getting to the coast was a great thing :-)
