I know weird question but i thought it might be fun. I am such a cheapie..but when it comes to my shampoo and conditioner..i have to use good stuff! thank goodness for ebay! LOL i use Basic Trend sunflower or Peach and Pomagante
usually get a gallon of shampoo and conditioner on ebay for the price of one or the other sometimes cheaper..and it lasts a LONG time.

Usually Panteen. My sister (a notorious cheapo) visited once and noted how great her hair felt having used my "good" shampoo... I suspect she probably uses Suave or something REALLY cheap. I really like Paul Mitchell though... I'd buy it from a salon if I thought it might make a difference with my mousy hair.

My statement was that you'll never miss it the few extra bucks, and only live once, so why not? She looked at me as if to say "you waste money".

Hubby is even worse. I worry about money and will quickly settle for cheaper things, but he won't buy unless he can buy "the best".

Whatever smells good and uses sodium laureth sulfate instead of ammonium laureth sulfate.

I think it's John Frieda, Brilliant Brunette or something like that.

I use whatever my parents buy, which is usually whatevers cheapest (most common is the L'Oreal line). My favorite is the Fructis though, since it makes my hair look so nice. We've got that right now, and I'm savouring it, lol ('cause i use so much of it, since my hair is so thick, so it's gonna be gone pretty quick, lol)

I use Aussie Mega shampoo and their seperate condtioner. I use Suave Clarifying shampoo to help get rid of oil build up once a week or whenever my scalp feels icky. I have added baking soda to my shampoo and it really does help clean the hair and scalp good!!

I used to use Paul Mitchell, but it got to be expensive because my sister stopped working at the store where they sold it!! I have tried Herbal Essence shampoo and thought it cleaned my hair well, but I really CANNOT handle that perfume scent. It's so strong.

Unfortunately though the brand is going out, i bought 2 last bottles of what they had in the store but good idea about ebay!

I use Pantene, the daily clarifying shampoo and the curly-hair conditioner, which since it's long and REALLY thick, I have to glop on. I also use the Pantene curly hair leave-in conditioner. The mane needs LOTS of conditioning or it gets fuzzy.

My hair is super-thick, too, so I've figured out how to make the shampoo and conditioner last. hehe Use a little bit of shampoo on the roots and just let the suds make their way down to the ends, and dilute your conditioner with a little bit of water. It still conditions, and the bottle lasts longer.

I use CatWalk Fashionista or Curls Rock. I work in a salon and get it at cost, or I would not use such expensive stuff. Before I went to work there I used Dove, Pantene, Aussie, pretty much whatever is on sale.

I use mostly Matrix Curl Life - occasionally Biolage Hydrating - one a week I use Kerastase - that stuff is Heavenly but expensive!

The only reason I use "expensive" shampoos is because I can get them at at my company store. If I actually had to buy the stuff I'd probably use Patene.

I use Treseme (pardon my spelling...I am too tired to go look!) I love my hair with it. Some shampoos make me look greasy and some dry out my hair. This one has been good.

Paul Mitchell Color Care is the absolute best, IMO, at least as far as preventing coloring from fading. I had an awful problem with color fade. Not since I have used this. I think it's the sunscreen in it.
