My parents didn't give me a specific age that I could start dating. I had silly little middle school boyfriends, but I guess my first real date was the beginning of 9th grade when I was 14.
I had my first date (which turned into my first boyfriend
) when I was 15.
There was never an age set.

16 I guess.... That's when I had my first boyfriend. We dated for 3 years and dumped me because I wouldn't transfer to his school. Our break up was really bad and now he ims me all the time wanting to see me. I didn't realize just how bad he treated me until I met my current boyfriend. Jon and I have been together for nearly 3 years and going strong.
16 although I had my first date at 15 but he was older (like I was a freshman and he was a senior in high school) and my sister used to babysit him so mom and dad knew him.
16 but I didn't relationship type date till I was 19 because I'm picky. Good thing I did good with Nathan! The few other guys were more like brothers.
Never was not allowed to date... Wasn't really in a functional household so I got to do whatever I wanted!
I don't recall my parents setting an appropriate age. I started 'dating' this kid named Neil when I was 14, but since neither one of us could drive, we more or less sat around and watched movies at each other's houses.
umm... My dad has always had a problem with me beinging boys over EVEN if they were friends. i mean he was okay with parties but once he freaked and they never returned (that group)
he has never set a rule for dating, Just bringing boys over and sleeping in the same room he has a problem
my mum on the other hand doesnt care lol as she was a rebel when she was younger

I don't know what age they would have "allowed" me to start dating, but I didn't have the opportunity to date until I was 14, and they were fine with it then.
