Lick your hair? Joey was grooming me last night hehe!!

yea sometimes she licks my hair but its mostly on my hands or forehand.

Daisy licks any part of you she can reach while you're petting her. Lucy will sneak up on you in the middle of the night and lick your earlobes.

Reilly licks my hair, and I have long hair so he usually just ends up chewing on it!

Maggie May licks my hair, face, arm & hands. She espcially licks my face when i'm sleeping so I get up to feed her!

Bob will, especially when he's trying to steal my pillow.

Beamer licks my hair quite often. He can drive me nuts sometimes when i am trying to sleep. Usually he is trying to wake me up. If you block him he sneaks up from another direction.

Samson used to do that when I was sleeping so I'd end up waking up with a big streak of hair standing straight up! It got so bad, cause he'd end up making my hair so tangled, that I had to start sleeping with a pillow over the top of my head.

I used to have another cat when I was a teenager that liked to lick my face. She had REALLY bad breath, so it wasn't real pleasurable when she got near my nose.

Neither of my cats groom my hair. Charlotte loves to lick my stinky feet though!!! So gross. She does lick my face, legs, and hands on ocassion.

While on the topic of licking, I have a question. I understand that cats lick themselves and other cats mostly for grooming purposes and some for social purposes. When cats lick their humans, are they doing this to clean their humans or is it also a sign of affection (i.e. I like you...you're worthy of a cleaning)?

Gracie licks my hair, along with my hands, face and ears! It's so cute.

I read somewhere that when cats groom their humans it's the ultimate sign of affection.

Then he must REEEALLY love me cuz he don't stop licking until i pull away!!!

Plus Joey will get a little agitated and give me a little warning bite when i'm petting him..then he'll lick over the place he bit me..kinda like "Back off!! I'm sorry.."
