I just turned 37 and I've been noticing my first grey hairs!
I might of had them for awhile now but just noticed, I don't know. I didn't expect it this early, I always imagined I would be at least in my 40's before this happened. I was just curious, have any of you gone grey early? Could this happen because of stress??

I never color my hair and I wouldn't want to, but I might just have to now!

how's this for early... i found my first gray hairs last year, when i was 20! i have two they are above one of my ears... but now i have my hair highlighted so many different colors you cant tell!

my mother and father claim that i gave them every single one of their gray hairs.... kinda funny... cuz my dad is bald... so i guess i was so bad that i not only turned their hair colors, but i made it fall out

I'm going to be 37 next month, and I've had a few gray hairs for years now. I highlight.
It makes them blend in!

I'm only 27 and I have a few gray ones
. I actually started getting them when I was 24. I have really dark hair so they're pretty noticeable. I'm thinking about getting highlights to "blend them in"

I suspect it's mostly genetic. Why don't you ask your parents if possible, when they first started experiencing grey hairs? My sister is 58 and has just a couple grey hairs, my mom has some grey in her eyebrows and on her temples (87.) My dad however was totally white-headed when he died at 75, and I also had a friend I hung around with years ago that started going grey in her early 20's. I'm 48 and have just a smattering on my temples, however my sister-in-law was pretty much grey by the time she hit 40.

Oh boy, glad to know I'm not alone!
My dad started losing his hair very early too, so perhaps I'm taking after him.

I will have to ask my mom, she has very dark hair so it was always noticeable. I can't remember when she started though, I was too young and didn't think much about it then.
I sure hope I'm not all grey by the time I'm 40!
I will certainly have to do some highlighting.

I'm thinking of the same, highlighting, either that or coloring. I suspect I inherited somewhat from my dad's side (who was brunet) as my hair is a medium brown, however it does have reddish tint to it and my sister and mother are both redheads. It really is amazing that my mom has almost no grey hair at the age of 87!

Here... or There... Hmmm
I don't have any yet, but my BF who is 35 has quite a few now.. Expecially in his beard. My sisters husband started losing his hair around 18 so I don't know if his was getting grey or not. My sister has quite a lot of grey har and she's only 29. You are not alone!!!!!!! And it can be covered.. We all are going to get it eventually!!
Kitter's is only three and she has been grey since I can remember!!
But she also dyes it too!!!

I know where you're coming from! I'm taking after my dad's side of the family and they gray early. I was hoping mine (when i was mid-thirties) would come out sorta like Lily Munster's, but no such luck.

Mom's side, esp. her dad, didn't gray until late. I think her dad was in his late 60s before he started!

My dad started to go gray when he was in late 20's and was completely gray by the time my parents got married. I'm a redhead like him so expected the same thing would happen to me, but not so far!

As I will be 48 next week(YIKES!!) I'm one of the lucky souls to have a basically 5 grey hairs. The only reason I started to change my hair color (this february in fact) was that my brown hair is ugly!!! Dad belongs to the chrome dome category not much hair but he turned grey really late I bet in his 50's I''ll have to look at my wedding pictures.
Mom on the other hand had cancer and chemotherapy in her 50's and she was coloring her hair long before she lost it but I'll have to ask when she started coloring.

I have had gray in my hair since I was 18. Have colored my hair for YEARS.
Nothing make me feel older than looking at myself with gray hair. Ick.

I'll hit 37 in September.
I've been going grey since I was 17 thanks to genetics

I am 27 and have 3 grey hairs
My hairdresser is always amused that she is able to find them each time she cuts my hair!
