Downtime Question...

Hey, what is that thing that's in some of your signatures that says "I survived the December 2004 downtime"? The more I see it, the more curious I get...guess that's why I'm such a kitty lover!! LOL!!

Oh wow...I'm sorry to hear about it. From reading some of the posts of that thread you gave a link to, making that part of people's signatures probably helped reduce the sadness of losing all those memories. Great idea, guys!!

Yeah it sure helped. We are such a great community here. Some other forums would have just given up but we rebuilt!

I can tell about this being a great community. I found myself wondering if someone would ask the question you did about our finances and us thinking about buying that cat fountain. I was actually pretty surprised anyone did. I've been to forums before that no one even noticed stuff like that, much less cared.


Not that it was a test, just that it had an explanation.

Honestly, TCS is more of a large family, and I think that most of us who have been here for awhile think nothing of asking things, even the most personal of things, about each other.
