I finally have gotten a few pictures of our new place. The house has been ours since last month and we have been working hard to paint and paint and paint. We moved in on Wednesday and things are coming together well! I am going to give you the mini tour today of the rooms that are not full of boxes anymore.

The front entrance (this is not our actual house but it looks exactly the same)

The living room

Ebony in the living room

The dining room

The kitchen

That looks fantastic, Beryl!
Eb and Lily certainly like their door to see out the back
Thank you for sharing!

I like it! The kitties seem to have settled in nicely as well. I love looking at other peoples' home. We moved in to this house in December and still do not have it the way we want. We need to paint, decorate, etc. I love getting ideas from all of you!

I need to take gardening tips from you Fran! I have NO CLUE how to garden or how to keep things alive outdoors. I am afraid to start doing anything to the backyard.

Thanks! The girls have settled in MUCH quicker than I expected them too. So I am pleased. My worst fear was not having them settle at all or having it take months for them to get adjusted. Thankfully that is not the case.

We have moved their food and boxes about 5 times however trying to figure out the best place for them. We wanted to eventually put their food in the kitchen. However, there is another huge window that looks out the back from the kitchen right where their food was. Lilly was scared out of her mind of that window (maybe cause its so high up??) Everytime she'd go to eat she'd immediately get scared and run away.
We're trying their food in the cat room again. Hopefully that's where is will stay permanently along with their boxes.

It's gorgeous Beryl! I love the colors you've painted the rooms with and the cats seem to have already taken to the place. How exciting for you!

As a side note, I'm reading a book called Last Chance Saloon by Marian Keyes and one of the characters has a cat named....BERYL! I always think of you when the cat is mentioned, which is frequently as the cat owners girlfriend is jealous of the attention the cat receives!
