There's supposed to be a Scotland Yard press conference any time now. ITN is reporting 45 fatalities, hundreds injured.
My thoughts are with those in London today, and those who have loved ones there.

I'm so glad to hear from the 3 of you over in the UK. I hope the others check in soon. This is truly disgusting and I'm so sorry you all have to endure this. It's just sickening! My heart is with you all.

I'm here and ok!

I'm 3 1/2 hours away from London but it still makes you wary of what can happen?!

Susan, Sarah, Gilly, Nicky, Carrie, and other friends from the UK---- my heart, thoughts, and prayers go out to you and your fellow countrymen. What a scary world we all live in these days. I hope they catch and punish the monsters responsible for this ignorant act of hatred. Stay safe and know your TCS friends are here and are thinking of you

Glad to see you're safe, Nicky!

We're still waiting for news on my housemate's friend who lives near one of the bomb spots!

I hope you hear from your friends soon too!

There agenda is one of domination of terror. They totally underestimate the will of the people of London. On the news right now there is a show of citizens rallying around the areas affected and helping out in any fashion they can. Digging in rubble with bare hands and organizing fire brigades until the emergency crews can respond. Please guys, stay safe and let us know how you are doing. I know you are beyond terrified right now and shocked beyond belief

i'm outer london, Twickenham so its "safe" here. All the buses have been stopped however.

I'm not too sure where my friend was today, just that she was up there and we were meeting tonight in islington.

I wish I were there too!

I am sure that your friend is fine. Communications are crap atm - even now hours later I can't make calls from my mobile and am lucky if my desk phone works the lines are so jammed. I am sure she will be in touch soon

I was meant to be going oxford street today but decided to spend some qulaity time with Mav, thank god. theres no way i would have been able to get home.

Do you think the airports are safe? we've been told to stay in because of our proximity to heathrow and loads of counsel workers have been sent home.

My office managers mother has just rang her to say the police have covered our main train station.

Hopefully it's just as a precaution as were on the main rail line to London.

The airports are okay - boss was meant to be flying back from Hamburg to Heathrow. But as the Heathrow & Gatwick Express are both closed (and he can't get home from LHR) he has decided to stay in Hamburg the night. I called a cab company to see what the situ is - London black cabs, Computer Cab etc. all phone lines are engaged. I was going to book a cab now to see if it could take me home - it costs about £35 though but work can pay.

I just want to go home NOW....
And guys I am sorry to go on but I feel so uneasy sitting here with all that s hit happening a few streets away.

on the radio it was said that anyone of arab origin or appearance needs to watch out for vigilanty (spell?) attacks. just what we need- even more innocent people getting hurt.
