i just brought home a darling 3 month old kitten from the same shelter where i got mamie. the problem? he's incredibly affectionate and sweet, and therefore he gets all the attention. i know that i should be lavishing mamie with attention to show her that i still love her despite having a new kitten around, but mamie is so skittish and nervous that i can't get near her to pet her. what should i do? i don't want mamie to feel neglected or passed over.
