I don't understand why people feel that lives of animals are worth any less than the lives of people and why the insist upon treating then like objects that can just be cast off. It's so horrible.
I second that.. I just dont' get it either.. And by the way thanks Hissy for taking in this little one. She is a cutie

Such a beautiful kitten! Bless you for taking her in.

I suspect that our fourth cat was a deliberate drop-off The night we found Tiger (4th picture below), someone was parked outside our residence for several minutes before driving off. It took my wife and I three days of feeding Tiger and playing with her before we could catch her. Someone must have gotten bored with her or got annoyed at her estrus cycle, noticed our three cats in the window and figured we'd take over for them. Oh well. She's now spayed and living in a kitty Heaven!

It will never cease to amaze me how some people believe these gentle souls are so disposable- Your cats are gorgeous, they look healthy happy and very much loved!

It's so odd, she has fit in so well, like an old comfortable shoe. Guess there isn't any debate, she is staying here. I guess some things are just meant to be, whether or not you can explain them away. So far, when it comes to introductions, i have thrown the book away- she has asserted herself with all the cats, and though some find her annoying, she is being tolerated well. I walked the block asking people, no one is claiming her. If she were mine, I would be frantically looking for her.

when i was a kid i always dreamed someone would drop off an unwanted kitten on my door step or i'd stmble across a 'free to a good home sign'. i used to check bin bags at the side of the road or river side.*

Now, ten years on i'm glad i never had to witness such cruelty. i will never understand someone who willfully abandons an animal. bless you for taking in another poor lost animal.

*(my mums friends son used to do the same. one day he thought his luck was in when he saw a wiggling, writhing bin bad next to the road. opening it up his was confronted by a GIANT snake! ewwww!

Wow - I'd take her in a minute! She looks like Jamie and ZsaZsa's little sister.
She has really lucked out by landing on your doorstep.
