I guess we lucked out! Then again, we've been saying since the day we brought Bijou home that he's the most special cat we've ever had and I/we have had some awesome cats.

Well, I remember when I got Shane. Snoopy (RIP) was not too happy, but then again, Snoopy was used to being the ONLY cat for 12 years. For about 2 months, Snoopy kind of gave me the cold shoulder, however after that he came around, and he was as loving if not MORE loving than he had been before. He lived 8 years after that with Shane, and although Snoopy never really got close to Shane, Snoopy was MY lovebug all the way.

Now, I have Shane (Applehead Siamese), Simba (Bengal) and my new addition SunLee(Modern Siamese) and they all get along pretty well, although Simba and SunLee get along better with each other, and they each share their own special loving and play moments with me. I ddin't lose the love and affection of any Simba or Shane, when I got SunLee. They are the same with me as they were before she came. By the way, as far as being noisy, neither of my Siamese make much noise, but Simba the Bengal is the noisiest and most talkative of them all.

When we got home we asked Mooey if he would like to have a little sister. I guess we'll just have to learn Siamese because he just looked at us like we're crazy. Either that or he thinks we're crazy for even thinking it!

We're giving it serious thought, have asked for more recent photos and/or photos of her parents. We had talked about it for the future but not planned it to be within the week! LOL... We know that if we go see her in person there won't be any 'thinking' going on... it'll be, "gimme kitty, now!" We'll probably schedule a time to go see her within a day or two.

Mika talks loudly but only when he has something important to say, such as "give me food", "get up, it's time to play", "but I didn't want you to pick me up", or "where the **** have you been all day?"!!! I made a video of him with "I'm Little but I'm Loud" as the background music.

I for one will be impatiently waiting to hear about the "visit"

LOL!!! Ya'll aren't making it easy to think rationally! Neither is the photo of the mommy kat she sent, which is stunning. Mika's neutered (OF COURSE
) and still couldn't keep his eyes off her

Then I looked up her daddy's cattery and saw what a winning bunch they have. Poo! For such a "no brainer" it's still so hard to make myself commit either way!

Hubby says "it's up to you" (which I hate!).

Here's the photo she put on the online ad of the kitty (when she was about 2 months):

OK - the problem I'm having here is "Why are we discussing this at all?" After seeing that picture and having your husband say "it's up to you", you should already have her at your house!
Yes, yes and yes again.

Go now before someone else snaps her up! She's absolutely gorgeous. OH I WANT HER SO BAD!

She's such a little cutie, patootie. I would go for it. To be honest it will be a lot easier while they are both young. They will both love you and they will love each others company. You know when I see my cats loving each other, it's as beautiful and touching to me as when they show me love. It's so heart warming to see my babies together. Go for this adorable little girl. Blue Points are such wonderful Siamese also.

OK it is mid-morning here in the Toronto area. My question - Is she at your house yet? No? What are you waiting for? Hurry, hurry, go get her!

Well, hubby and I sat down last night and decided that since we weren't really looking to adopt right now, it would really have to be a great deal that we couldn't pass up... so we decided to offer $200 and if she took it then we'd have a new baby.

So, I called her this morning and made the offer... with no hesitation at all, she accepted
We could've probably offered $50, she just wants her to have a good home fast. Very nice lady!

So, we're going to drop by on our way home from work to see her and probably take her home.

If it were only that easy when we got Mika! Now we'll just have to see how our pint sized moo cow does, suddenly having a new sister with no warning!

My thoughts regarding this thread: Sooz has another cat. It might take her a few days to realize it, but that's what's going to happen!
