Vulnerable kitten gets attacked?

when pandy was tiny she would get her paw caught in the beads that hold the blinds together and a few times got her paw caught on string that is attatched to their scratching pole, every time something like this happened she would go nuts, hissing, crying and struggling to escape, i would have to brave her claws and hold her while i gently eased her foot out of whatever she had caught it in, the thing is, every time this happened, as i was rushing to the rescue, bonnie would beat me to pandy and start attacking her as soon as pandy was free again she was fine but they were good friends even when pandy was young so why would bonnie hurt her, you think she'd try to help pandy....

pandy hasn't done this in a long time, i think she may have just been a clumsy kitten but i'd like veiws on it all the same.

Sounds like the little one may have been in a bit of a panic and lashed out at whoever or whatever came to her rescue.
