What is your worst song(s) ever?

We've talked about our favorite music. But what song(s) do you absolutely hate, the song(s) that when you hear them it has the same effect as nails down a chalkboard?

There's one I can think of now, it was popular back in the '70's when I was in my early teens. It's called "Midnight at the oasis" by Maria somethingorother (can't remember her whole name.)

I know I have at least one more but I can't remember the title right now, but I heard it recently on a (?car) commercial.

Good question... Hmmmm... I really hate a song I used to hear in car commercials all the time. It goes like this: "Soom Soom Soom!" It's supposed to be the word Zoom, but the Z sounds like an S and it drove me nuts! I can't think of any real songs right now.

I have two words...."The Macerena"

Can't think of anything right now, that I absolutely hate because I love so much different music!

I have heard that in a ton of commercials!! A local car lot had a version that went "Who Let the Dodge Out" THAT was torture! They played that every single commercial break!!!

The Jingle Dogs barking Jingle Bells

ANYTHING Phil Collins, Michael Bolton, or Kenny G. My mom used to listen to them all the time and they drive me frickin batty!!! Also can't stand "GARBAGE" that group irritates me too!

That's easy! "Band on the Run" by McCartney & Wings I guess. I had my first job working in a stockroom at the time that song was popular. I didn't particularly like the job, they ran a radio and that song was played over and over and over and over ... you get the idea. Even today if I hear it on the radio I swear I want to go running screaming into the street.

Beatle's "Yellow Submarine" is a close second.

Easily the worst song ever is Axel F featuring the Crazy Frog, currently (I believe) number one in the UK

What i could do with that stupid frog!! It's on nearly every advert on the cable channels

I absolutely love mazda commercials!!! They make me want to go buy one...lol.... I love mazdas tho, so that may have something to do with it. LOL

As for a song that makes me cringe, I'd have to say the macarena!!!

"Maneater" by Hall & Oates - its been out a loooooong time and I couldn't stand it from the very first time I heard it.
