I'm sure you've all seen the threads here. Free $XXX at Wal Mart, Target, Office Depot, Home Depot, Fitness Centers, etc. I'm not sure what incentives these people get for doing it, but it is spam. Just like the spam you get in your email (at least they aren't advertising Viagra on here yet! LOL). These are not legit offers, there's a catch. Most likely they are email farms to send you MORE SPAM!
We do try to catch them as soon as possible, but they do tend to hit late at night or early morning when moderators are less likely to be on. If you see these threads, don't bother clicking the links (they are most likely tracked, and more hits from here means more spammers). Use the Report Post function (the triangle with the exclamation point at the top right of every post) to notify the moderators, and we will remove them as soon as we can, as well as ban the spammers.
