I am considering sharing this pix with the Paul Stanley and Kiss fans on my website, but I trust you all here to be truthful, without being cruel, where as the Kiss people are more likely to be cruel. Anyway, I'm pretty good with graphics programs ect, but I know I need a lot of work on art that I do by hand. Anyway, I drew this picture of Paul Stanley, and to me it looks pretty good, but I'm not a good judge of my own work. Could you tell me if it's OK. I know it's not great art or anything, but is it at least decent?

When I compare the picture that you drew the pic of Paul in your siggy, I see an amazing resemblance. I think you did a very great job and I KNOW Paul would appreciate all of the effort that you obviously put into it

I don't know what Paul Stanley looks like but I can see you have lots of artistic talent and I'd be willing to bet that your picture looks just like him.

Thank you. You've given me the confidence to put it up on my Paul Stanley website. I hope they all don't make fun of my drawing. A lot of times when I think something looks pretty good, I'll hear from other people who think it's terrible.

I'm pretty blunt around here, and you can always count on me for an honest opinion!
Actually, I think it's fabulous, and it does look like him! So post it and who cares what anyone else thinks. Paul's your man, and you can draw him as you please. It may not be professional, but it's a flattering drawing I'm sure HE would even appreciate. Go for it!

art is very subjective, but i'm glad everyone has given you a confidence boost! you really do have talent and should never let people put down your work!

Being an artist too, I know how annoying it can be (and sometimes hurtful) when people slate your work
But, Hope, I think that is a great picture! If people slate it, it is just because they couldn't do anything as good - even if they tried! Plus, they are so unaware of every underlying tone of emotion, love and care that goes into a piece!

I think you should certainly go for it - let any comments wash over you!

I think that you should send it in Hope, it is a very good likeness of him. I think that you have captured his mouth just right. Dont worry about bad previews as even the best in the world get them. By the way I had a look on your web site and enjoyed reading up about Paul Stanley as I was unaware of who he is.
