Excessive itch...

My kitten lost his leg back in March and since then his face (starting on his left side and now on his right) has been getting dry skin and its always itching. of course he cant scratch the left side of his face so i thought it was normal but now its on the right too. anything here at home i might be able to put on it, i dont really have the money to take him in seeing as how i just paid for his surgeries. i like to hold onto my emergincy money for my pets to go to the vet.

I wish I could give you a home remedy...something like this should be seen by the vet. It could be ringworm, bacterial skin infection, or something brought on by allergies. Typically something like this needs a diagnosis and a prescription.
