Hey, Ya'll!!!
I am here, finally, and still sick, and still taking medicine. If I am not better by the morning, I will be calling the doctor. But with all the weather changes and pollen floating around out here, its a wonder if I werent sick!! I wanted to thank everyone who enquired about my health, I appreciate that! And thanks, Ryan, I certainly did enjoy the drug induced sleep of Nyquil! Lets get on with the dreams, I am really excited, I have lots of good ones, everytime, and they just seem to get better and better.

Loveysmummy: Hello, thank you, I do feel a little better! Its okay with the bombarding, I look forward to it. I saw three main themes in your dream: dark, the doorway, and of course the man. I find it interesting how you have hypnogogic dreams, and you still wanted to know about this dream!! Ok...dark represents the unknown-it can not be defined by the intellect or conscious self. It could be depressed or unhappy feelings as well. The man, I think, represents, your masculine self-the part of your personality that is assertive-takes action and makes decisions. The standing in the doorway theme is opportunity, the unexpected, a new experience. When you have this dream, is there something going on that you are unsure about? Maybe you cant make a decision, hence why the man seems so scary to you. Are you on the brink of a new experience when you have this dream? Take these things into context with the dream. Ask yoursself the above questions. Let me know what you come up with!

Vespacat: Hello! past life?? sure. I believe it. But a lot of dreams that focus on the past are generally reflecting past attitudes, out of date views and opinions. I picked out 4 major themes in this dream: mall, fire, man in black, and hat. Malls in dreams are materialism, greed-you may also find yourself in the mall when you need some pampering or are searching for something to make you happy. Fire is passion, anger, desire, burning feelings such as resentment or frustration, our desire to destroy. Also our life process, often described as a flame which burns forever through different generations, but leaves only ash behind-our vital energy, occasionally it can refer to physical illness, but this is generally not the case. The man in black, you felt very strongly about. You said that he reminded you of Abraham Lincoln (who was the 16th President of the US, and was assassinated by John Wilkes Booth.) who, in your mind represented death. Death in dreams is change, the old dying off in order to make way for the new. The end of a relationship or issue. The top hat was also interesting because hats represent your opinions, beliefs, mental attitudes. This whole dream suggests that you have some out-dated opinion or belief that needs to die. Maybe there is some overwhelming feeling that you need to get rid of in order to be happy. Does any of this ring a bell with a situation in your life? Get back to me on this, and let me know what you think!

Emma: Hello. Lets see if we can help you make sense of these dreams. Zombies represent something that you thought was gone is trying to come back to life. No longer in touch with feelings or reality-maybe unemotional. Spiders are often the dependent emotions and conflicts one feels "caught" in-connected with mother. Taxi's represent desire for help. The railway lines are a communal or generally accepted direction or inflexibility. Is there something that has been going on with your mother that you feel was dead and is coming back? Does it involve your family? Think about all of these themes in regards to your life. Does any of it touch on a subject?

Victor: Thanks for being patient and getting back to me on the other dream I analyzed. The three themes that I see going on in this dreams are alien life, cat in the wool. Aliens symbolize something you are unfamiliar with--something you have never encountered before. Cats symbolize your feminine,. intuitive energy. Can also point to independence, fickleness, cleverness, pride, aloofness, balance, cattiness or any other traits associated with a cat. Wool is warmth, gentleness, motherhood, protective fuzziness of thought and feeling, your ideas. Something is going on that you have never encountered before and maybe you are intuitive about it, or its helping you to take on a trait of the cat. The wool on the cat, represents your ideas. Does any of this relate to something you were/are going through at the time of the dream??

Kelly Faber: Thanks, I am feeling a little better! Your dream was interesting because you related it with vivid clarity, that I could feel your emotions while reading it. Grandparents tend to represent a passage of time, or out dated attitudes and behaviors. Farms are care or expression of your natural drives-the down to earth side of self. The house being run down is showing that you could be tired and run down--physically or emotionally. The windows being broken out should mean that soon you will have clarity...there is nothing there blocking your perceptions. The wellhouse is access to ones deepest resources of life--your source of well being. The moon is not seeing things to clearly. This whole dream is pointing to not having clarity on an issue. Was something going on that left you wondering what is going on around you? Something that left you confused?

Big Orange Menace: I am still working on yours. I just need a little more time. There was so much in such a short amount of space! Please bear with me!!

Kellye!!!!! You and your wild imagination! No television right before bed time!! No, I am kidding. Ok..party's in dreams represent our feelings about groups--social skills or social pleasure. Killing is repressing or stopping some aspect of oneself. Trucks are your abilities to carry a heavy burden.(you thief!!!!
) Bikes are your personal efforts or motivations which get you somewhere. All of these are saying that there is something going on (like, a big move is less than 14 weeks, that you are procrastinating about???) and its supressing the carefree part of you, and causing you to carry a heavy burden. The bike is showing that your personal effort and your motivation will get you through this and away from the "killers".

Hello, Chris! Your dream resembles some of my dreams. Piers represent departures, meetings, and partings, leaving a phase of life behind-or meeting a new one. This can also be considered a beach-a change is needed-new qualities must be developed. Tornadoes are for worrywarts! Do you worry too much?? (I do, and they are constant in my dreams) Is there a stormy situation or someone with destructive behavior around you? Tornadoes show up in dreams when we are feeling out of control with whats going on. Lakes, are the inner world of our feelings, rivers represent our state of feeling about our energy and emotion. And the ocean is life giving energy-emotional, spiritual, and creative depths. If you take all of these things...is there some change going on in your life and you are worried about it? Do you feel out of control over some issue? Think about this and get back to me, I am interested to know what you think about this.

Thanks ya'll for your patience while I analyzed all of these dreams. Please feel free to leave me feedback, I appreciate it!
Take care!

Well, pride, aloofness, and cleverness have always been traits of mine. Gentleness and protective thoughts... well, I guess its true when I have so many people who claim that I have a problem of a paternalist twist to a superiority complex... (i.e. feel the need to protect everyone, even from the truth at times). Something is going on... well, yeah: Right now, I want some money for a car of my own, and I am finding a way to raise all that money... but this is the first time I need several thousand dollars. Its a strange feeling and something I am doing for the first time.

You still doing this?

Hope so... Hope you feel better soon (though after this you'll probably get a headache!)

I dreamt about 3 nights ago that I was in my school courtyard with a gang of vampires who were all my friends (I didn't know them, never seen them before but I knew they were my friends). They were mucking around, and I managed to shout something really loudly that brought all the teachers running. Well, we all scarpered - But at extra slow - Olympic win speed (i.e not actually running.... just mimicing). I then appeared in my living room, with some new friends. I'm turned to the window (big window, covers half a wall) and looked out - And became aware I was flying in a very high-tech spaceship now, with some random people, two of my friends and the avater of a person I know from a horse forum.
'Twas strange, I bypassed my friends and headed for the avater and called out its username, asking what was going on. We then got transported outside, where the spaceship was grounded in a giants footprint, and I could see the giant heading towards us. I asked him what was going on, and whether he could get us flying again. He did; he picked up the space ship and off we went. It then crashed, and I got out, and seeing my friends leaving, I tried to run down the hill to ccatch them. Only, I was doing the fake imitation running again.

Then I woke up.

Care to shed any light on it? Its very strange I know. (Coincedentally I had the spaceship part of the dream before, just not the vampires bit)

Diane,

Thanks so much. Very interesting information. I cannot really think of anything that is going on in my life that represents change but I am a bit of a worrywart. My house and yard are "out of control" and I do tend to fret when I cannot get everything done that needs to be but not so much that I give up my TCS time
I thought the tornado would represent out of control things because I'm always trying to warn people and they are not listening
Indicating to me that no one in my dreams thinks it's as big as deal as I do
Thank you again!!!

I've been thinking about a dream I had last night and it has been really bothering me all day. My grandmother who was a mother to me as she raised me, passed away 15 years ago this coming Christmas. I've had dreams of her in the past, not many, and it has been quite a long time since I've dreamt of her (that I can remember). I won't get into the whole dream as it's not what's bothering me. The part that I can't get out of my head is I was on the phone with her asking her to come pick me up at the mall. But she wouldn't come get me, she told me to just wait for the bus, even though it wouldn't be here for another half an hour and we were in the middle of a snow storm! I started yelling at her over the phone and I told her I hated her at one point; all for not coming to pick me up!
I woke up this morning kinda shaken up over it, especially because I told her I hated her, which is sooo far from the truth--she meant the world to me. I'd love to know where the heck that dream came from and what it could mean!
Thankee!

I have a lot of things on my mind right now, especially with this move and I have never been able to act like the real Kellye here in the mountains - sorry to say this but the people here make me feel uncomfortable because they are so judgmental about others here and I just more or less go into a shell and make myself invisible and so thats the carefree part of me being supressed, I guess. When I was home, I was definitely unique and a little 'fruity' and thats what I loved - I hate being what I am now.

Diane, thank you very much for the analysis!
It was very intriguing and quite accurate.
When I was dreaming this I was quite poor, so perhaps I was seeking some material comforts as a band aid solution to a deeper problem. There definitely was a lot of change happening at the time, in beliefs, opinions, spirituality, etc. and I most definitely was experiencing anger and resentment. And there are still feelings I need to get past in order to be truly happy on an ongoing basis. Maybe that's why I still dream about fire often. Will it happen? Hopefully in this lifetime.

One more thing... Do you know if a dream can be symbolic of the future or does it most often represent the past? Thanks again... interesting stuff!

Thanks for taking the time to analyze my dream, Diane! I described it so vividly because I have had the same dream for years. It makes sense that everything in the dream points to confusion because my whole entire childhood was pretty confusing.

Wow - you know now that I read it back it makes so much sense. There's nothing to do with my mother at the moment - but feelings that I thought were dead are creeping up on me just now. My brother and his girlfriend announced their engagement last Thursday - and although I'm absolutely over the moon, I'm also really jealous deep inside. I thought I'd gotten over it - my wedding was destroyed 10 days before the date - and for a long time I coudln't even walk past a wedding without crying. I know it's a good thing that it never did happen, but it still hurts all the same. I've had to watch everyone around me getting engaged and married - sometimes even for the second time - and I feel a little bit left behind, as it were. There are a lot of conflicting emotions regarding my relationship with my son as well - he will be staying wtih his father now, because our relationship has gotten so bad. I suppose the inflexibility thing could be that everyone expects a child to stay with his/her mother, whereas in this case, it's going to be in Alex's best interests to stay with his father and his girlfriend - Alex and I simply don't get on at all. It's all very well for people to say that kids love their mothers and yadda yadda yadda - and I'm sure Alex does love me just as I love him too - but we just can't get along. It's a kind of serious personality clash. There are a lot of things in my life that could contribute to that dream, but I'm still intruiged as to the significance of the two silver daggers, if you have any ideas. They just truck me as being important in some way...

Hey Ya'll! Hows it going?? Sorry, I wasnt on at all yesterday, I fonally broke down and went to the doctor. He said I have sinusitis, gave me an antibiotic, which is nowhere near as fun as the cold medicine
, and told me to sleep. Which I did. And now I am bored with that.

Wow! I love all of the feedback! Lets see if I can answer the questions some of you asked me!

Victor, I think thats exactly why you continue to have dreams that involve cats. Pride and cleverness are cat traits. And definitely buying a car of your own is a new thing to you. Good luck with that, and I am glad that this helped.

Chris, tornadoes do represent chaotic situations as well, but being a worrywart helps them too. And you are right about trying to warn people, that would definitely be a part of a dream..especially if they arent listening. But you have to realize that you are only one person, and there are only so many hours in a day...try not to stress about what you dont get done. It'll be there in the morning, hon! You're very welcome, I am glad I could help!

Well, this just re-establishes why you had this dream...you cant be you. And hopefully, soon that will change and you will find, let people be judgemental. They are going to say and think what they want to, anyways. Look them all in the eye and tell them to go straight to the devil. Because you are you, and just from corresponding here, I am sure your personality in person is just as lovely as it here!

Diane, thank you very much for the analysis!

One more thing... Do you know if a dream can be symbolic of the future or does it most often
Vespacat, dreams can absolutely be symbolic of the future, but a lot of times, we dont recognize it until we are looking back. I'll tell you an example....I had a dream a few years back that my aunt (who is fairly young) had died, leaving behind to children ages 6 and 3. Through the whole dream, we are focused on the funeral. I get all the way up to the casket and see some older lady that was not my aunt, in the casket. Suddenly, I didnt recognize anyone around me. A week later, my husbands great aunt died, and we went to PA for the funeral. I had never met this woman in my life and this was the first time I had met his extended family. I get up to the casket, and its the woman from my dream. Scared me so bad!! I didnt realize it until it was later and I could put 2 and 2 together. I absolutely believe that dreams can forewarn of future events. I am glad that my analyzing really hit home and helped you to understand your dreams!!

Thanks for taking the time to analyze my dream, Diane! I described it so vividly because I have had the same dream for years. It makes sense that everything in the dream points to confusion because my whole entire childhood was pretty confusing
.

you're very welcome. I am glad I could help. You will probably continue to have this dream until you clear up some of the confusion. But just remember, no matter what, you will always awake from it!

Well, all of that makes sense. And the jealousy thing plays a big part!! The daggers do have significance, I cant believe I missed them! Daggers represent our desire to hurt someone. Look at who is being injured, do you have agression towards them?? You are probably right in the decisions you made. I am sorry that you are going through that. I hope it gets a little better.

And for those of you that posted new dreams, I am going to be working on them, and will definitely post my analysis of them here as soon as I get them done!!
Thanks!

i had a dream last night that i was in a big city with tall buildings (like new york, melbourne and frankfurt all mixed together) and there were huge waves as tall as the buildings crashing down on us. alot of people just dissapeared, and there were some people who took a big breath just before the waves crashed down on us, then i was driving along the road, and there were only silver citroan cars, along a country road.
I dreamt that on one big wave, i had teufel on my hands he was curled up in a ball and watching me, i was holding him so he wouldnt touch the water, and then when we got to the shore we ran to our cars and drove off, i dont remember what happened after that because i woke up.

Heya Diane - it was funny, but as I saw the daggers being in my brother's chest, I wondered what that could have meant. Because not once in my lifetime have I ever felt any aggression towards him. David and I are incredibly close - he's been a rock for me in some really, really dark times - honestly, I don't know where I would be without him. I've had many a dream where something horrible has happened to my brother, and every time I recall being utterly heartbroken about it - this poor boy has, in my dreams, been run over with steam trains, drowned, pushed off a cliff, had a hand amputated by a stepladder (don't ask, I just know that was what happened).

I have also found that in my deepest, darkest moments, when I close my eyes I can see very clearly, forget-me-not blue eyes. Clear as crystal and very loving and friendly. A warm blue... it's hard to describe - it is exactly the same colour as the outfit I found to go to my uncle's wedding in. I've seen those eyes on so many occasions - and it's not even when I'm asleep, so it's not really a dream. Those are the nights I really believe I'm being watched by an angel. Archangel Michael, to be truthful. Someone is watching and keeping me safe. Thanks for the analysis - I'm sure I'll come up with something wacky to post at some point. Fab!

Cheers Diane! That is super sweet of you to do this for all of us especially when feeling icky.
I would like to know what you mean by "I find it interesting how you have hypnogogic dreams, and you still wanted to know about this dream!! "
What do you mean that it was interesting that I "Still wanted to know" even though I have these types of dreams..
I do find it very weird and scary when I do have them.
I would agree that I have these dreams in times of duress or stress of some kind, but you know its been awhile since I had one..so maybe I am in a secure place right now!

The man dressed in old time suit and hat makes a wee bit of sense seeing as I am really nostalgic so I can see what you mean by him relating to me as my other self so to speak...I like that the dream is not simply dark but rather about new beginnings perhaps.
Thanks much! I will be back with more! I can't remember last nights..
But the last dream I remember was having another cat all of a sudden living with me and Lovey and this other cat were both hissing and growling at each other on a couch I don't even own..
Though I think this just signifies my apprehension at getting a playmate for Lovey (in case he does really fight) so this isn't a biggie

See you soon! Thanks again!

i've had several dreams that it was the end of the world...but one in particular, some frineds were hanging out at my house when we heard bombs dropping, so we ran outside and bombs were falling like rain, so we knew we had to be outside in order to see the bombs to avoid being hit, and we knew we needed to escape so we ran for the mountains, dodging bombs all the way, when we got to the edge of the mountains and turned to look back, i woke up

I had a recurring dream (many years ago) that an atomic bomb was dropped in the northeast US and it spread out all the way up to Canada. Kinda freaky.

i had a really freaky dream that the us government turned us into a slave labor country and sent most people to concentration camps, and the rest of us they moved into mobile home parks, and the crime was so bad we had to have night teams that kept watch over the park at night sneaking around trying to protect everyone, and then we became like vampires, killing only the bad guys, (when i changed into a vampire i lost buckets full of teeth) we were like ninja vampires, the people of the park protected us during the day in return for us protecting them at night

Fab!
sometimes, its not aggression in the direct sense of the term. Sometimes, its seen as jealousy, and other hurtful emotions that can wound. Daggers mean wound. And you are probably right. Good luck with everything that is going on.

You're very welcome. I am glad to help. You are right about the apprehension in your dream. But definitely post some new dreams!!! I really like analyzing dreams, and I tell you, even feeling icky it was fun! Less interruptions too, when everyone thinks you are sleeping!
I just think its so amazing to see what your dreams really hold, what they are trying to tell you. I guess everything happens for a reason, and dreams are no exception. If you do decide to get a playmate for Lovey, just take your time choosing one, I am sure it will be fine. You know whats best, and a little apprehension is normal...especially with the responsibility that you and I as well as all other pet owners can attest to! Good luck to you with that!

Meiam, thanks a lot for posting your dreams, I am working on them as well as yours Fwan. And anyone else who posted new dreams, I am doing those as well.
Thanks, ya'll
