It's A Boy!

Yes, there is a new baby at our house!

Yesterday Mom and I drove up to meet Andeshan/Angela and pick up a white male kitten. We discussed names on the way home and mom decided on Aristotle, or Ari.

This is her Mother's Day gift. She has missed having a cat of her own. Angela lives in Bedford, Indiana and we met partway. Ari was fussy and letting his woes be known when we met them but was quiet on the 1 1/2 hour drive home.

Hw has met Jasper and they have done the obligatory sniffing but haven't "bonded" yet. At least the fur hasn't been flying!

Pictures will be posted as soon as I can borrow sis' digital camera.

Awww congratulations. I hope the Jasper and Ari soon build a strong friendship.

YAYY!! Welcome Ari ... im sure you are a cutie and You and big bro Jasper will get along fine .

Ari is about 11 weeks old, all white but has these very faint cream markings on his head. They are are to see which is why Angela called him Ghost. Sometimes you see the markings and sometimes you don't.

He's been exploring mom's room and playing and knocking things over then napping hard. When I checked on them this morning, he was sleeping against the back of her knees.

It's fun having a kitten again! I'll tell him all his aunties and uncles welcome him.

No, the kitten section at the store was out of his size.

Hehehe, I thought you had just had a human boy baby;0 at first cause of the thread name !!! But congrats to your new Boy kitten, I am looking forward to seeing pics of this darling boy kitten you speak about and wish you guys luck with the bonding experience.

Hey, looks Jaspers now he have with who share their tongues!!! ...

So far, so good with the boys. Ari is used to playing with adults but Jasper is still a bit unsure about kittens. Jasper just looks on as Ari does his "pounces and bounces" and the "side-goggle". (Side-goggle is our term for when they pounce sideways. Blame Mom for that one!)

Rigel, I'll have to show him pics of his "Cousin Milky" so he can see what he might look like when he is grown up!
