Hi Everyone,
Newbie here
with a quick question...

But first a little background. My wife and myself have a beautiful Norwegian Forest Cat called Nando. He is very very friendly and loves our 16 month old son. He is a fearless 'little' thing

We know they can get quite big, and have seen lots of pics, but we were wondering at what age they generally stop growing. He is about 9 or 10 months old and is as big as our other 15yr old moggy!!

And here are some pics from the first week he was with us:

Enjoy!!

He is beautiful! They usually reach full maturity by age five. He will probably stop growing before then around three. My 11 month old boy weighs about 12 lbs. The males can get up to 20 lbs. Maybe even bigger. Your kitten is definately beautiful. They are such loveable cats. My boy will come when I call him. He acts just like a dog. Do you mind me asking where you purchased him from? Below is a picture of Ivan.

Hi, Thanks for the reply. Ivan is beautiful

Nando comes when you call him too, but that is when he is not following you around like a little shadow anyway

He has a real soft spot for my wife. He will sleep on her pillow all night pressed against her face. It was not such a problem when he was a kitten, but now he is soooo big and soooo fluffy!!!
We purchased him from a breeder in Wales. It was a long drive from London but we wanted to try to get a Norwegian Forest cat due to their freindly disposition and becase they are meant to be good with children and other pets.
Here is a link to the breeders website: http://www.landskerforestcats.com/

I'll post some more pics later in the 'New Cats on the Block'
