Oh Gilly, Guinness will be the envy of the boys in the neighbourhood with that one - he'll look sooo handsome.

I love that site - I ordered the first four on that page - Tippy's wearing the blue one now.

Well, I picked the Zebra one so that it will show up against his fur!

So do the collars last well? £9.99 is a bit more than what I would usually pay but the one that Guin has now (the green one in past pics I have posted) is only weird fabric with no eyelets for the buckle. It is already looking rough where he has been scratching to get it off. Poor boy is not used to a collar! lol

I could also picture Guin with a black, leather collar with studs!!! Now I just need to find one!!!

I shall try and find a place that does....
Your girls would look great with glitter collars... I think pink for Rosie and silver for Sophie!

Black leather with studs - he would look stunning wouldn't he! Yes, the zebra one will look lovely with his colouring.

Tippy is very heavy on collars, they look ragged in no time on her - she's been wearing this one for a few weeks now and it still looks as new. They adjust right down to a very small size as well (not that Tippy needs that)

Gah.. 3 posts in a row...

Do you think the collar that I ordered is safe seeing as it has no breakaway clasp
It is elasticated though..... I just looked at the first collars on that page, the £4.99 ones and I see that they have no buckle but can be tightened up etc... hmmm *thinks* should I get another one?

I know there are various opinions on collars, some prefer cats not to wear them at all, others only with breakaway clasps and then others who use the ordinary ones.

I've had cats all my life and they have always worn traditional buckle collars with elasticated safety bits - I've never had a single problem with them.

These are the first breakaway ones I've bought, I was worried whether Tippy would pull it off, but she hasn't done so yet.

Ok, thanks. That's put my mind at rest... The only reason he has to wear a collar now is because of the cat flap - which as you know, is magnetic...

Wow, these look great! I had to take Villy's collar off as the id tag was causing big problems for her. Ever since I've been worrying every time she goes out how she would be found if she got lost. Even though she's micro chipped, people wouldn't always think to look for that. I've ordered a soft pink one with her name, my house no. and my mobile no.on it.
Thank you so much for sharing this!
