i've already been told i'm not allowed to name any future children so i better get the naming urge out of my system with the kitten!

For a human child i liked the names Tigerlilly, Honey, and Deliliah for a girl and Innocence (a guy who worked in my local mcdonalds was called innocence and i thought it was so cool!) or Angel (after Tess of the Dubervilles - i think. or some thomas hardy novel) for a boy.

My boyfriend went to an all boys school. he's made it clear how badly beaten up a boy named 'Angel' would get! lol

You definitely have some interesting human names picked out. A lot of them are very pretty (boys names included lol)! My boyfriend LOVES the name Dallas for a boy and Zoe for a girl. I personally like Juliana for a girl and Noah for a boy.

i like Noah too but would need something a little more unusual than Juliana just in case people called her julie!

i LOVE waffle's name and the story behind it. i cant believe you kept your vow to name a cat waffle all those years!

Casanova

Licorice or for a play on words, Lickorice
Maverick
Rocky Balboa

Those came from the "Personality" category...I'll go through some of the other categories and see what stands out there. AND if you like any of them I can go back and tell you the meaning and origin and all that. This site actually has that!

jinx or shadow or maybe you should try and see what its personality is like first. My boys (me-sto,T.T.Cat,& tobby) names took me about 6 months before each of theirs stuck.
one last idea since your kitty is so teeny like my T.T.Cat was when i got him he was so small i carried him in my shirt pocket,so his name stood for Too Tiny kitty, but now that he's older i just changed it to T.T.cat since he's not tiny any more. well good luck i hope i was a bit of help.

I like Flash and Diesel.

if we named him after his personality his name would end up being 'furry slug' right now as he doesnt do much else but wiggle and crawl! lol

i understand why it took 6 months before the names stuck, picking names is so hard

think i'll take your advice and wait until he's a bit older before i pick a name

I would name him Goose. Like in the movie "Top Gun." Maverick and Goose.

thats who Maverick's named after, tom cruises charachter in that film.

My boyfriend (well ex-boyfriend as of one week, still dont know what to call him ) named her and is also campaigning to call the new kitten Goose.

I prefer Cougar myself but didnt he quit in the 1st 10mins or something? i dunno, i hate the film! I also hate the name Maverick too (for my cat anyway), it just really doesnt suit such a prissy feminine kitty

she needs a far prettier name. well at least i get to name this little one!

Yeah, he did quit early in the film. I love that movie. It's in my 10 all time favorites. You could also name him Merlin after Tim Robbins character. He flew with Cougar in the beginning of the movie and with Maverick at the end of the movie. Merlin would be cute too.

Okay, I'm a dork. What about Teal'c? That's the name of Christoper Judge's character in Stargate SG-1. I love that show.

OK, I'll add my vote for Diesel (which, btw, was named for the German inventor of the engine )

I LOVE the name Eight Ball, but I think that would have to be for a black kitty w/a white spot on his noggin!!!

I vote for diesel as well, however, just to add.
