I used to sleep primarily on my stomach, and for years tried to break the habit, as the position is bad for your back. Interestingly, I now sleep on my left side (I'm even political when I sleep)! only because Franz likes to cuddle next to my chest at night (a typical male) LOL!

Right side with Bijou tucked between my chin and chest. I rarely move during the night so I wake up the same way.

BTW - I was reading recently that if you sleep on your side you should use a firm pillow; on your stomach a soft pillow and on your back a medium pillow. Just thought I'd pass it on.

I generally start out on my back, and roll over to my right side when I'm about to fall asleep -- unless Cindy has arrived and planted herself between my legs before that point, in which case, it takes a little longer to fall asleep, and I sleep on my back as long as she's there. I do prefer to sleep on my side, though, and if I fall asleep before Cindy arrives, she finds the crook of my knees to cuddle into, instead of between my legs.

Oh my side of course, if I try to sleep on my back my nose gets so stopped up and I'll cough my head off, of course sleeping with the cats I probably have hair balls lol
and if I try and sleep on my stomach I fell like my spine is sagging

I'll lend Lily to you. If hubby starts to snore she sits on his nostrils and sticks her paws in his mouth til he shifts position and stops snoring. Saves me waking up to give him a swift poke

I used to have a book about sleep positions, & how they offer clues into your personality. I can't remember the author, but if you wanted to kill time on the Internet, it is definitely a fascinating subject!

Thanks for that info. Now I gotta go buy:

A medium and a firm pillow for my side and back.
Then one for in between my knees
One pillow to hug
Another to lay my head on. So that comes to five pillows!!!!

Oh wait, I forgot, another one to cover my face with
And come to think of it I usually use a neck pillow.
Hmmmm
What's that come to? 7 I think?

Hope there's room for me after all of these pillows!

I sleep on my tummy... my freshman year of college I hurt my knee and my sleeping position changed so that I have to sleep on my stomach, with my leg slight bend at an angle. It takes up quite a bit of space and is quite uncomfortable when I have a tummy ache... I've always wished I could change it but I can't.
Sometimes I am able to sleep on my side but rarely.

Under the cats, mostly.
hrmn.. this is a tough one for me. I don't tend to really sleep, so I move about in some really funny ways all night just trying to get comfy. But when I do, I don't just sleep, I die. I am the original living dead. If I'm exhausted, I probably could sleep standing on my head!

It depends I guess... I have a daybed so sometimes I'll sleep with my head at one end of the bed, sometimes I'll sleep with it at the other end.. So, I usually lay on the side that faces away from the wall and depending on which way i'm sleeping I'm on either my right or left... I tend to be more comfortable on my right side... I havent been sleeping right lately... Kai tends to keep me up at night either running around knocking stuff over or biting me...
